This pizza oven comes in a cardboard box and the items are well packed inside. The oven has an interesting design with a wood pellet hopper at the back allowing you to fill the hopper to keep the oven going. No charcoal, and no wood necessary. The rotating stone is also convenient, and requires batteries which is good since you don't need to run an extension cord or find power somewhere. The chimney has a flap allowing you to adjust the amount of air the exits the oven.A nice unit overall, recommended.

This is a hidden gem of a pizza oven. The last one I had you had to rotate the pizza. This one comes with a little motor that fits on the bottom that will rotate the pizza. It requires two D batteries which don't come with the oven.

I think it's safe to say that Takeout pizza ruined for ever! I always wanted to try and make my own pizza. I have watched endless you tube videos on making it myself and I was so exited when I finally received my own oven. The pizza oven was very easy to assemble. Once I got a fire started I filled the hopper with wood pellets and let it burn. It came up to temperature very quickly. The fire was so hot that flames were coming out the chimney. A full hopper lasted around twenty minutes. My favorite feature is the rotating pizza stone. It helps cook the pizza evenly on all sides. When I decided to make my first pizza... What a disaster. Never using a pellet pizza oven before I cranked up the fire, heated up the oven to max roughly 500C and put my pizza in the oven. The pizza looked cooked in about thirty seconds and It looked beautiful. I learned very quickly that managing temperatures is extremely important with this oven. The pizza looked cooked on the outside and was raw on the inside. I quickly learned that you have to add just enough pellets for the fire to heat up the pizza stone to 400C while you are preparing the pizza in the kitchen. When I put the pizza in the oven I want the fire to just start to subside. I found that the 400C on the pizza stone is perfect. I will add a few pellets to maintain the heat while the pizza is cooking. The pizza is done in 2-3 minutes on average and it has a perfect cook. When I removed the pizza from the oven I add two handful of pellets to bring the temperature back up while I serve and prepare the next pizza. Once you learn to control the heat its so easy to use. Cleaning is also important. I made the mistake of not cleaning the chimney and the top of the oven after every use and then I had black carbon fall on top of the pizza. Before you start cooking in it take a few minutes with a rag and make sure its clean. My family and I loved the different varieties we have tried. Everything from classic peperoni, BBQ pulled pork, chicken alfredo or garlic parmesan. They all turned out amazing. I use store bought dough that I defrost and allow to rise. It's a family favorite meal in our house hold. Just be prepared to order takeout the first time you try this oven if you are not experienced using it. Its a fantastic product.
