DESIGN STORY

When dealing with large cuts of roasted meat, I needed a carving fork that's both agile and stable. Forks with overly long handles tend to be unwieldy and somewhat risky.

Inspiration struck while admiring ancient weaponry at a museum. Our carving fork's design embodies the essence of these historical weapons, seamlessly merging their distinctive grip and stability. Just as warriors of old tightly grasped their weapons, this fork firmly secures oversized cuts of meat, infusing your cooking experience with a profound sense of history.

OUR PRODUCT ALLEVIATES THE FOLLOWING FLAWS

carving fork

DISTANCE TOO LONG FOR CONTROL

We hold meat with one hand, slice with the other hand—hands are close. Long carving fork handle disrupts this, affecting stability.

KITCHENAID DOUGH HOOK

VERY UNCOMFORTABLE

To secure large meat cuts, holding the carving fork bends the wrist uncomfortably, impacting extended use.

kitchenaid dough hook

FORCE AREA TOO SMALL

Due to the narrow fork, the meat tends to rotate around it during the slicing process. This can make slicing more challenging and less precise.

carving fork

SUSCEPTIBLE TO DEFORMATION

This type of carving fork made from steel sheets has a thin thickness and low strength, causing it to deform when pressed down with force.

meat fork

EASY TO CONTROL

This short-handled fork reduces hand distance, keeping the familiar chopping motion for improved slicing stability and precision.

carving fork

MULTIPLE GRIPPING METHODS

You can grip it in various comfortable ways, whether you're slicing meat or removing bones. It won't tire you even during prolonged use.

carving fork

SAFE AND STABLE

A fork with a wide spacing effectively prevents meat from sliding during slicing, especially when dealing with tougher cuts of meat.

meat carving fork

STURDY AND NON-DEFORMING

Solid 18/8 stainless steel, hand-polished for durability. In a century, your fork could be an artifact – a testament to its quality! Ha-ha.

Every time the main dish is ready to carve, the knife is refused by one and all, be it a turkey, prime rib, or a simple roast that needs to be served—and fast. We are all gun-shy after the shredding or miscutting of nearly every piece of meat we serve for holiday dinners at our house. Well, we can pull off meatloaf. Sometimes. Like the classier main courses, even meatloaf has to rest a bit and my husband is too anxious to wait. When I found this handy tool, I thought that if we could skewer a big hunk of meat down with this tabletop pitchfork, at least it wasn't going to get away from us as we hack away. My husband and I have used the fork for household meals so far with decent success. I'm waiting to see if I can get volunteers for turkey carving on Thanksgiving. I think a couple of my family would be intrigued by this thing I might rename the Devil's Fork. Someone might be willing to step up to gain some carving success. After all the turkey massacres we've overseen, success is just what we all deserve! If you can pull off carving your turkey with that nice carving set you have, ignore this review. But if you are like us—people who leave behind a mess like the Texas chainsaw massacre, try this giant fork for a fist.It works. I mean it. It works!

This may not look like a fork but it is awesome for folding meat down while cutting. Very hearty for the size. It is easy to hold and the short handle gives me more control than a long fork. Great addition to the kitchen.

This meat fork is fabulous! Aesthetically it’s beautiful, polished to a high sheen it’s truly a work of art, in fact it’s embossed on the handle - quality/art/practical. If you cook a lot this tool will be greatly appreciated. I usually wind up trying to hold large pieces of meat with a pair of tongs while slicing, but this tool works great! It doesn’t seem to matter how you grasp it, it’s comfortable to hold.

This product is a specialized fork meant for holding a turkey, ham, or brisket in place with one hand while sawing slices with the other hand. It is well adapted for that use, and it also has a really artistic design to it. I have used it on a large whole chicken and it worked just fine to keep the meat in place while cutting. The fact that the fork holds a wide surface area of the meat is what makes it better than using a regular size fork, or sometimes I just stick a large knife into the meat with my other hand, but that is never a great idea.In addition to being very practical for this specific purpose, this product just looks awesome. It almost looks like one of those weird self-defense things you would get at the mall or a gas station! It is definitely a conversation piece that you can bring out to the table with the meat for people to check out. When not in use, I have it on display in one of my glass door cabinets so everyone can see it. It is truly a one if a kind utensil!

Why have I been using grill tongs all these years?!?!Can a carving fork be beautiful...because this carving fork is beautiful. Solid, weighty, highly polished steel that just feels so good in your hand while serving up a meal. Designed to work. Designed like an art piece. I almost hate to get it dirty every time I use it.Much heavier than I expected, which is a sign of the quality and a guarantee it will stay where you stick it. The fork has a smooth finish that is easy to grip and makes me feel like a fancy 5 star restaurant chef. And it was made for gifting. The packaging and drawstring bag make for a great presentation. This fork deserves every star.

This is ok. It will take me some time to become accustomed to using something like this instead of a regular meat fork. It is robust and should last forever.
