Pros:-shipped very quickly!-good size for a green cheeked conure- all parts were clean and smooth. Except the tray. It has a few tiny dents in it but nothing serious. (It’s a poop tray, so who cares how pretty it is)-super easy assembly, and sturdy.- the rubber feet on the base are a nice touch.Cons:-it shipped in a plastic bag, which looked pretty sketchy. I can see how other reviewers had problems with damaged items. I was fortunate that this wasn’t the case with mine.-The rubber feet left a yellowish residue on the packaging, so I think it would be wise to avoid putting this stand on any surface you don’t want the possibility of yellow stains. All in all, this product is pretty decent for the price and my conure likes it, so that’s good enough for me!

My cockatiel loves to be wherever people are, but that isn't always convenient or easy. This playstand allows her to go where we go (inside, of course) while she still feels safe and I don't need to worry about messes.Assembly is harder than average. This set doesn't snap into place, you screw it together. A screwdriver is provided but driving in the 8 wood screws will take some time and make your hand sore, unless you're accustomed to it. A power drill with a Phillip's bit is recommended. However, once assembled the set is very sturdy. Comes with a swing and a ladder, and the metal tray is nice to contain messes and is easy to clean. (and birb likes to look at herself in it)I recommend it if you're looking for something that allows your feathered friend to keep you company around the house!

Our parakeet, a neglected rescue which we have had for a year and a half was cage-bound and afraid of everything when we adopted him. It took over a year for him to finally feel comfortable enough to come out and he will only come out if we have certain parakeet Youtube videos playing on the tv. For the past several months now, every morning we open the cage, put his parakeet friends on the tv and let him come out at will. He was using his small travel cage to perch on top of which we tied a few short wooden dowels to the top, but we wanted something safer, more comfortable with some sturdier perches for his feet. We also wanted something with cups so he would have food and water available and not dehydrate while out of his cage. We chose this one because of its simple design, because he is still very skittish of everything new and unfamiliar. We received this within days of ordering it. We expected it would take weeks for him to even go near. This morning we had this assembled in about 15 min. super easy assembly. After about 20 minutes of him checking this out from a distance, he finally flew over to it. He very quickly realized it was safe and comfortable and spent all morning sitting on this playstand watching his youtube birds happy as a clam! We were thrilled that he was so happy sitting on this play stand without fear and us not worrying for his safety. We love the removable tray on the bottom which is so easy to clean. By the afternoon, he was landing on the stand with ease. We had to unscrew the bell because he was afraid of it but in a few weeks we will try putting the bell back and see if he starts to play with that. We also have not attached the cups yet because we know it will take time for him to become comfortable with "new and unfamiliar" as usual, but the cups are very solid and very well made, easy to remove and clean and the design is ingenious. Also we love the fact that we can travel with this or move it from one room to another. And he is so happy on this playstand! The seller was super helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns quickly. Plus he stands behind his product and if there is a problem, he is willing to work it out quickly without an argument or a fuss. I would totally recommend this to anyone with a parakeet or two.Since my parakeet fell in love with this stand almost immediately and the seller is so darn helpful and accommodating, we give this five stars. Our parakeet would never go near this thing if it did not feel sturdy under his feet, stable when he lands and comfortable when he stands on it watching tv for 4 or 5 hours straight. The price is great and we now have a very happy bird who has a very safe and sturdy stand so he can hang out with us whenever he wants to.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SELLER AND THIS STAND!

I am one of those people who cringe at the words "some assembly required". I had chosen another product but when I looked at the pictures to assemble it, I said no way! Then I saw your product and the video on how to assemble it and I was sold. When I received it I was able to quickly assemble it; it is sturdy and well made, my bird loves it. Thank you for making such a great product.

It didn't come with instructions but it did come with a little allen wrench for assembly. If you look at the picture, you can figure out how to put it together. It is a good size for our cockatiel. He likes the textured top perch. We like the tray underneath and the clip on bowls.

I was looking for an uncomplicated tabletop stand for my cockatiel, Tucker. This one is wood with a metal tray to catch bird stinkies and metal food and water bowls. I really like the design and it is sturdy and easy to assemble. You don't need instructions, if you look at the picture you can figure out how to put it together. It comes with the screws to assemble and surprisingly, a little screwdriver. Tucker was frightened of the sound that food made when it fell onto the metal tray, but he got over it quickly. You could always cover it with a paper towel if your bird is noise sensitive. The swing is too low for my cockatiel but if you have a budgie, he won't drag his tail on the ground. I wouldn't use this for anything bigger than a cockatiel. All in all, I recommend it.

I gave it three stars only because the ladder is too big for parakeets. My birds never used it, so I tossed it.I like the easy to clean metal tray, my birds sit on the top, sides, and occasionally the swing. I put a bowl of water on it so they can splash in. Nicely made product.

Great play gym! I got the medium sized gym for my parrotlet. Set up was super easy and even though there weren't any written instructions, only a small piece of paper with a youtube link, I didn't need them. I liked the fact that it uses screws to secure the wood, making it much sturdier than the last gym I had. All the holes lined up correctly. I think this is a fair price for the quality. The only slight negative was they included a little flat head screwdriver, which is a nice gesture, but the screws require a phillips head.
