Had my mechanic install this on my 2007 Seadoo Challenger 180. Initial run was good but noticed a bit of power loss. After about 45 minutes and in the middle of the lake the motor bogged down and started to die. It would not go above idle speed and took me over an hour to get to a dock. The regulator turned out to be junk. I replaced with old regulator and it's running good as new.
