install was as easy as plug it in. i went a little further and ran the wire behind the dash and out a vent to hide it a little better and keep the aesthetics of my car a little more on the classy side. after a few simple adjustments in the settings the h.u.d. is dialed in nicely. true that some measurements for fuel related feedback are in metric, it's not to hard to look up a conversion table to get it set, and then it still serves it's purpose of giving you insight on how your fuel efficiency is during different types of driving. plus, you might just accidentally learn something useful considering most of the rest of the planet uses metric measurements because they actually make sense and are easier to convert from one to the next, being based on 10s and all... it is very helpful, and definitely safer to see my speed displayed up in my line of sight, without becoming a distraction as well. i don't know why more vehicles don't come with something similar as a standard feature.

Insanely bright while driving at night regardless of the brightness setting, to the point of being obstructive.Also, I was able to calibrate the speed to my vehicle fairly close to the actual vehicle speed, but the RPMs would adjust at all no matter where I set the calibration.

La instalación es relativamente fácil dependiendo de cuánto desee que muestre ese cable. Si lo quieres bien escondido tendrás que trabajar un poco. Hay un ligero retraso comparado al velocímetro de fábrica, pero nada que pueda hacer que pierda la noción de la velocidad o la seguridad. Definitivamente recomiendo calibrar el HUD tan pronto como lo instale para tener la lectura más precisa posible. La caja llego abierta pero todo el material estaba nuevo y sin uso, solo revisen todo al momento de abrirlo pero si definitivamente es algo que debe de revisar el proveedor.Hasta el momento muy buena compra, recomendaria este producto. Se siente como el velocimetro de Mario Kart

You have to go to a lot of menu mode and when you finally got the set up to where you want it. You need to display the reflector. The reflector to me is a bit distracting because it's actually a dark film but the advertisement shows it very clear. The dark reflector was a bit distracting during the day light and the speed wasn't matching. If this item is connected directly to the obd2 it needs to display the right speed period. I shouldn't need to do any adjusting. It's suppose to get the information directly from the car...it's not worth it at all to buy this product...The Kivic is looking more promising now.

Only a couple small nits. The gas mileage indicator give a choice of liters per 100km or liters per hour. How about an imperial option? Also, it would be nice to be able to turn off some of the extraneous indicators beyond just the speed and the tach. Purpose of a HUD is to keep you from having to glace down at the speedometer and it does that. Other indications are just a distraction.

I just got it this morning and took me like maybe a half an hour to install it cuz you have to watch YouTube videos but just read the manual an take your time I just can't wait to drive at night daytime you can't really see anything the reviews I heard but it's not the items fault it's daytime but I know I'm definitely happy with my purchase no matter what anybody wrote in these comments I'm happy

Pro: Very cost effective way to get a HUD for the vehicle. Reflective film greatly increases daylight visibility.Con: The reflective film is not "see-through" enough so it is a flag for would-be car thieves and could land you a citation for obstructive object on your windshield. Also, the steeper the angle of the windshield, the harder it is to see through.

This is my 6th purchase of this product in a 3 year period. First one finally failed but it was prolly because it has been under the sun and heat non stop for the last 3 years. The rest is doing great. I did this purchase to replace the very first one. It's been great. Can't seem to drive w/o it now.

I'm updating this because of the seller.Great seller. They stand behind their product. Just for that alone I recommend this item.My unit tends to glitch out. But when it works, it does work rather well. And this is on a 2004 Cadillac SRX.Seriously though, the seller is amazing and I highly recommend this seller.
