Nice set of metric taps. I do not use taps often and even less often use metric but I had a project for these and rather than buy a few individuals, I grabbed this set and it worked well for me. I was only tapping white metal so I cant really speak to their function but they seem as good as any other I have used. As with any tap, go slow and use a lot of lubricant, if your hole has a bottom be sure to stop when you hit it. I would get these again.

These are fair quality taps suitable for home use. They are not tool steel. I ordered them for cleaning out buggered threads on consumer grade products where the threads come bad from stock, and I otherwise could not bolt the item together. The quality is low end or single use, but they are a fair value for the price.
