It has a matte feel on the tiles and has a sand-papery feel when you turn it which I kinda like. There's better options out there but this is the best budget-wise.

I chose to get this as my first 4x4 to learn on. It took a little bit of breaking in and i have not lubed it just yet. It turns well with some corner cutting, but not the best by any means. The packaging looked a bit different from what I've seen before so take that with a grain of salt. It possible this was switched out, but I can't say for certain. Budget cube and good for learning not much else to say.

Its a very great cube one of the best i have, it turns nice and easy, its very sturdy, and well made. One small thing is that it barely cuts corners. But other than that its great

This 4x4 cube is a very good choice. It moves smoothly and feels nice in my hands. The construction is not as tight as a 3x3 cube but that is not unique to this brand. The more pieces, the more flex a cube will have. If you know how to solve the 3x3 cube then you will only need to learn a few more algorithms to solve the 4x4. Master this and you are on your way to solving the 17x17 cube :)
