Great supplemental heat for 400 sq. ft. room, quiet operation, quality product, fan delay on start-up and shut-down (should really only be on shut-down for cool down but hopefully won't affect heater life coming on before fan start)...heater definitely makes a difference in taking the chill out

This heater was easy to install. It fit nicely under our sink cabinet and is barely visible. The control is low obviously, so we paired it with a timed switch that clicks off in 30 minutes to make it one wind and forget. It warms slowly and softly, but after a few minutes a nice fan engages and makes the bathroom toasty comfortable for anyone taking a nice long bath or shower and hoping to get out of the tub in a warm bathroom.

It worked OK for 2 years, then it fried. Literally. Sparks started shooting out of the unit until we killed the power. Luckily no one was hurt, and nothing caught on fire. I give it 2 stars because it did pump out a decent amount of heat for being so small. Very loud though, as mentioned in previous comments, so the word "quiet" should definitely be removed from the advertisement. I'm not sure what type of warranty is included for this product, and whether 2 years surpasses it, so if details could be shared I'd appreciate it.

Installed it to take the morning chill in a bathroom. Works fine. Heats up quickly and you can indeed hear it.

It gets the job done! Paired with an Aube digital thermostat, this solved the problem with my bathroom being too cold. It would have been a great candidate for sub-floor heating, but the builder didn't do it and I wasn't about to tear up a new bathroom. Recessing this in the toekick of the bathroom vanity and connecting it to the programmable thermostat has meant I wake up to a toasty bathroom; go to bed with cozy toes as I brush my teeth; and don't have to think about changing the thermostat settings. One reviewer mentioned that he glued some rubber washers to the bottom to help cushion noise from vibration - I want to try that. The vibration noise isn't terrible, but it is certainly not a silent heater. I'm a relatively handy person, comfortable with electrical wiring. If you aren't - get an electrician to install this. It is not "plug and play."

We installed the first heater in the fall of 2016 and it stopped working in the winter of 2018. We ordered a new one, which worked for two days. We hope the company will help us with this problem. If so, I will update again! The first heater we received looked like a refurbished unit sent to us in error, but the company quickly sent out a replacement, so all was well. The installation diagram wasn't of great help in installing a wall thermostat, but we sorted that out without having to call. It seems to heat well, but as it's still 80 degrees in our area, we haven't really had a chance to fire it up. We have it installed in a bathroom and it should be more than adequate. Like people, kick space heaters all seem to get noisy and rattle as they age, but so far, it's quiet enough. It's actually good that it makes some noise so that we remember to turn it off as we leave the room. It looks fairly easy to vacuum once two screws and the vent plate are taken off. If you've never had one of these, you will want to remember to do this (flip off the circuit breaker first). We also blow out the dust with an aerosol air canister - the type used on computers and other electronics. It will extend the life of the unit. The reason I gave it three stars is because the fan doesn't come on until the heating unit has a chance to get hot, making users wonder if it is even on. As this is the way it was designed to work, a little red "on" light would have been very helpful. I would definitely pay extra for that feature.

These are a great addition to any bathroom. They are quiet, and work well. Make sure you wire them so the fan has power all the time, so it keeps going during the cool-down period.

Arrived quickly. Heater fan is noisy, I can hear it 2 rooms away, but seems to heat well. My Panasonic bathroom vent fan is much quieter, I think the fan could be improved on this. The metal housing sits flat on the floor, there are no feet or bumpers to raise it off the floor. Since I have it sitting on tile it seems to vibrate and make some additional noise besides the fan noise. I called and spoke to a representative that was very courteous. I decided to glue on four flat rubber washers on the bottom of the heater with silicone. It raised the heater about 3/16 inch, and eliminated the vibration on the tile. I was also concerned that if water spilled on the floor it would run into the heater laying flat on the floor. Now with the washers attached, at least it's off the floor a little. Overall, I just wish it was quieter.
