I used to try to build things I needed for my art studio using wood, but I'm not a very skilled carpenter. Discovering extruded aluminum was a game changer for me. With these beams I can build shelves, tables, stands, even an easel quickly and easily. I have built so many things that I even bought a chop saw to cut it. When I first started using this I bought European beams from a website. It's great but really expensive. I was so happy when I discovered that Amazon sells imported Asian beams for much less money. The quality is fine. I've never encountered a defective product. I've built so many things that I would have had to have custom made if I had wanted them built in wood. Using this stuff has saved me a fortune.

The set I got were all uniform and square. Great for setting up a stable square base or jig. These are great for small projects though they are handy enough you run the risk of wanting to buy some bigger ones.

You have to clean up your shop anyway when you cut these, why not clean up the product before you pack and ship it? Otherwise, it's aluminum 2020 cut to length.

These profiles were very well packed in 3 separate 1.5 mm thick cardboard boxes, wrapped with fiberglass reinforced tape and sealed on each end with thick plastic inserts. Each extrusion also was individually wrapped in protective adhesive tape. Aluminum chips stuck to the inside of the tape never really matters and is easily removed, but these pieces were cleaner than most I have seen. I didn’t examine all 10 but did choose at least 2 from each box for inspection and they all were in perfect condition with no visible deformities, scratches etc on any of them.Most importantly, all dimensions including web thickness and hole diameters, and the v-slot sizing, were exactly as specified and the anodizing was smooth and unblemished. The finish is a matte black with a sheen but not shiny. Ends (not anodized) were square and clean with no burrs. A small package with 10 angle connectors was provided including M5-0.8 setscrews and a matching Allen wrench. Unfortunately, the connectors are threaded for M4-0.7 screws so these won’t fit but not an issue at all. I will just swap out the setscrews for the correct size and this pack of connectors was a freebie anyway. Overall, nothing to dislike about this set of extrusions. For either structural or motion control applications they should definitely work well.

This 10 pack of extruded rails arrived nicely packed in 3 cardboard tubes to prevent damage, which was a nice thing to see. The rails appear to be straight and cut to the right length. Far less mill swarf than the last set of rails I ordered, so that was also nice to see as there was no aluminum glitter on my carpet after unboxing this time around. Price seems fair so no complaints here.

Los perfiles 2020 está muy bien, sin embargo, los conectores tipo L no llegaron con el tornillo rosca correcto, me va tocar comprárselo por aparte.
