Pretty impressed with this. I bought it to do high-power (150W) slow-scan TV. Your typical Wolf River or Chameleon balun isn't rated for anything close to 150W SSTV. The balun supplied with this product can handle it, because it doesn't rely on an impedance-matching coil. Rather, the antenna is designed to be resonant enough, on enough of the 20m band, to be useful. In practice, it works well. I saw low (

No instructions.QRP is defined as 5w or less for CW or 10 for SSB, so saying "300w" is extremely confusing.The whip is long and pretty sturdy. Make sure you put the counterpoise on the ground side.I wonder if cutting some of the leads on the ribbon cable to make them resonant would help performance.Good luck.
