So I got a new oven not long ago... but a cheap new oven. To replace my cheap old oven. While my old oven's grates were fairly easily cleanable with standard oven degreaser, I have been having SUCH problems with my new oven's grates. I try cleaning them, but the grease just doesn't come off. They remain SO FRIGGIN STICKY AND GROSS. My old grates weren't like this. I don't know what they are no longer doing to cut costs but it has been a really frustrating experience and I just basically gave up and am living with gross uncleanable grates.Well, I think you can imagine what happened next. This product shows up, I sprayed the heck out of my grates (probably 20-30 sprays to make sure I get every nook and cranny), waited about 5 minutes, and the stickiness actually finally came off!!! I am so happy. I guess there actually is a point to grate cleaners, that makes them different and perhaps stronger than a standard degreaser.The pad it comes with is also super helpful, strong and grippy. A must for using this product, and I definitely think it helped as well. Overall great product that I am super happy to have gotten the chance to try.

I am extremely pleased with this product. I have taken before and after shots of the top grate and bottom grate. The difference is amazing! I followed the directions exactly with spraying and waiting 2 minutes. I used the bristle like rag that was supplied and everything rubbed right off. It took less than 5 minutes to get my grill clean and ready for my spring BBQ.

It works! I’ll definitely be investing in more Proud Grill Q Swiper products. I need the scraper and the wipes. I have 3 Weber kettles, a Weber Smokey mountain smoker, and a Traeger, I’ve tried just about everything. I just had two cooks on a new grate and it cleaned up easily and looks brand new, the true test will come after I smoke a butt. This goes on thick so it can sit for a few minutes before wiping, that’s all I did was wipe and rinse, no scrubbing. This made clean up really simple. I’m impressed enough to buy more products from this company, I would recommend.

I ordered this for my wife who is always on the look out for a good robust cleaner. At the moment we don't have a grill but we are looking to purchase one this year. This was shipped in a bag with no real protection and luckily there were no leaks. The bottle itself looked like it was dragged along the floor at one time as the label was damaged and the top of the bottle was scraped and scratched. My wife decided to try the wire shelf in the oven which hasn't been cleaned in a while. There is a smell which is similar to other cleaning products but it is worth noting that it was only a slight scent. She sprayed this on the shelf and left it for 2 minutes as per the instructions. The grease came off really easily but left all the burnt stuff on. She scrubbed it with the scrubber that was included in this package which did help but she still could not get the burnt food off. So she sprayed it again and this time she left it sitting for over 10 minutes. She scrubbed the burnt areas and it still wasn't coming off. She is not impressed. There are several degreasers on the market that work well, Dawn, Awesome etc. so the fact that this worked on grease at this price of $19.99 was not impressive. My wife also noticed that there were no ingredients listed on the bottle. Stating this stuff is non toxic and biodegradable is not enough the ingredients should be listed somewhere at least on their website which unfortunately doesn't have this product listed. It is puzzling that others have had success with this product maybe it depends on how old and how baked on the burnt food is. The only plus with this cleaner is that it is made in the USA. With all the points that my wife mentions she feels that it is only fair to give this product a 3 star rating.

We are having unseasonably warm weather here in March, so I decided I would grill outside tonight. Grilling is one of our favorite things to do when the weather is nice, and the Q-Swiper 2-Minute Miracle Grill & Grate Cleaner arrived just in time for me to test it out. At the end of the season last year, I closed the grill, covered it, and forgot about it until the weather turned nice again, so it definitely needed to be cleaned before using. First, I used a wire brush to get off all the large pieces of burnt-on food leftover, and vacuumed them up. Then I spray on the Q-Swiper cleaner and waited about 5 minutes before returning with a wettened scrub pad that was included with the spray. I actually was surprised how well the grease and burn on food wiped away. Another pass might have made them sparkling clean, but it was enough for me. I like that the scrub pad is dishwasher safe, and the amount of spray you get in the bottle is enough to last the entire season, if not more. It does work well, without much elbow grease. I do think there are other cheaper products on the market that will do as good a job, perhaps with a little more effort. It comes down to individual preference, I guess. I like this cleaner, and I will be using it all season long after every grill session!

Used this on my grill grates and the scrub cloth held up. Took off the grease better than expected.

I need to start by saying I have never scrubbed my grill, so there are years of grime. I sprayed down the grates and the inside and waited the two minutes. In a few minutes I was able to scrub a spot clean. I could have done a better job if I removed the internal parts. The grates are cast iron so they don't look any different. The cleaner had a mild smell and was not irritating.
