I love making dried fruit in my dehydrator! I have one of the big ones with a door that opens outward. I love it so much. There's just one issue... it won't dry on the silicone sheets and it sticks to the metal racks. The racks are also too big to be washed in my sink effectively, so dehydrating fruit means and entire dishwasher of just the metal racks. I load it and wait the hours a cycle in the dishwasher takes, praying that I won't be scrubbing errant fruit pieces off after they've been baked in by the dry cycle.All of this means that I dry less fruit than I'd honestly like to.When I saw these, I knew I had to have them. They were one of those things where you knew you needed a solution, but you had no idea what the solution was at all. I never thought that maybe people were making silicone mesh sheets! But they are! And they're great!They're so easy to use and wash. I just full a sink with soapy water and soak them before a light scrubbing with a sponge. They're floppier and smaller than a silpat or something similar, so they're easier to clean.There's also a TON of them in one package. 20 is so many! And for so cheap??Get them, they're worth every penny and more. They're a good thing.
