The bag had a large clump of dirt with grass , some mold bark and totally dried out moss. I woukld have returned it but i threw it out, disgusted.

When this arrived, part of the moss was crushed. When I used the other moss it was dried out and brittle. I could use it but it wasn't easy since it was so dried out.

The items arrived but are in different proportions. The lichen I was seeking was the least of the items. The largest portion was a moss that when dried crumbles away ... dirt and debris, pine needles present as well.

This is quality stuff. I wanted to give my faux plant a more realistic look. And, this does just that. It’s just not very much product in each pack, which I read on other reviews. Three was enough for this project - keep in mind I only put it the top, I have newspaper underneath for filler.

It came I perfect condition, when using it for crafts there's a bit of a learning curve with moss. After you get past the pieces breaking off as moss does, it's perfect

Moss will come dry, this does not mean it’s dead however you just need to hydrate it frequently for the first few days and it will be flourishing in no time.

I really found the variety nice. Quite a bit of each. I soaked the moss in some water then squeezed the excess water out. The moss was very spongy. Very beautiful addition to my terrarium.

A very nice, quality pack of variety mosses. I particularly like that had good structure to them and held together well while I was arranging them. I've purchased other moss products that were extremely dry and crumbly; not the case here at all. I used to cover the soil in some of my tropical indoor plants; an inexpensive way to add visual interest and cover up the soil. Would definitely buy again if I had a need.
