This is a little on the pricey side but it works well and it’s actually waterproof. Some of the cheaper pinpointers aren’t really waterproof. We wanted this for snorkeling. It’s accurate.

Love this for my medal detecting hobby. It is a time saver & very accurate. If u medal detect, you should have one. Love that it's rechargeable.

I have yet to go diving with it but I'm sure that if it works as good under the water as above it will not disappoint . One thing I dint like at first is the dive mode that turns the unit ON by pointing it down then up then down 3 times, OFF just hold it straight up for 3 or 4 sec ..but after thinking about it and realizing the On /Off button is a bit stiff and small I realized that if you where in cold water and had gloves on this would be great to thing have. Note in the directions it tells you this feature turns it self on at dive depth but i cant find what they are calling dive depth,.

Works great. I got it because of the depth rating. I have a underwater recovery company and will be getting more of t j ese for the simple fact that it works exactly ads advertised. Had it down to around 140 feet.
