I ordered these high-visibility work gloves from QUEST PROTECTIVE APPAREL on April 4th after my neighbor was wearing a pair as we were cleaning up the back of our properties after one of our many early spring North Carolina storms. We had fallen branches on our lawn down at the tree line of the woods behind us. Cutting the branches into usable firewood and offering it for free usually gets it claimed and removed quickly. Both my neighbor and I have GAS fireplaces, so the wood is not useful to us, but having it rot on grass that we need to mow is not an option.I tried his gloves for two cuts on a 5-inch branch and was impressed by the security of my grip on the saw and by the amount of vibration that the gloves dampened. The fact that they provide excellent hand and wrist protection while keeping comfort as a priority was unknown to me then, but the solid material on the back of the hand was clearly there to protect. It reminded me of my motorcycle gloves with “rash guards” on the top of the hand in case you spill the bike and slide. The firm grip palm allows me to handle tools and materials with confidence, even when working with oil, grease, or wet materials. I appreciate the TPV shock-absorbent design that shields my hands from impact without feeling “thick” or bulky.I learned that “TPV protection” refers to Thermoplastic Vulcanizate, a type of material known for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to environmental factors. In these work gloves, TPV protection on the back of the hand provides an added layer of defense against impacts, abrasions, and other hazards commonly found in outdoor work environments. Like my motorcycle gloves only protecting me from impacts, abrasions, and cuts rather than Road Rash.No matter what these gloves are protecting me from I will gladly take the help. I enjoy my outside projects and doing them in a SAFER way just makes sense.Whether I am tackling volunteer construction site tasks, automotive work, or my typical home projects, these gloves keep my hands safe without the hand fatigue I normally experience after a day working in the woods cutting up fallen branches. The difference WITH and WITHOUT the gloves is visible in the LACK of swelling and redness in my hands after a day using the chain saw. The gloves anti-vibration palm grip makes a noticeable difference holding and controlling the saw to make clean cuts, too.The lightweight glove material makes extended wear comfortable while offering great resistance against abrasions and cuts. The high-quality design has held up well through demanding tasks, giving me reliable protection in my normal work environments. They no longer look sparkly new. The tree resins and sap have made the gloves dirt magnets, but I wash them after every use with soap and water, and they now have become even more flexible. That added flexibility ensures a MORE secure fit on my XL hands which allows me to work efficiently without much interference from the gloves. From my first trial wearing my neighbors too small gloves I was impressed by what these Quest gloves offered. They deliver a dependable combination of durability, practicality, and enhanced safety for my HANDS. That makes them a great addition to my jobsite equipment and a FIVE STAR winner for this AMAZON VINE Review. Thanks AMAZON!Mark in North Carolina

Nice gloves. I use them on my acreage mainly when I am cutting down trees or brush. I have not cut into them as of yet but they seem durable and they are comfortable to work in. The color is good but not necessary at home but I do need Hi-vis clothing at my place of work.

These work gloves are a bit unusual in that they are thin in the palms but still have substantial armor on the back of the hand, especially around the knuckles. These characteristics allow the wearer to maintain a great deal of dexterity with the front of the hand while still enjoying a high degree of protection on the back.I also appreciate the long wrist portion of these gloves. They extend deep into the sleevesof long-sleeve shirts. A wearer could tuck sleeves into the wrists of these gloves or fasten the cuffs of the sleeves over the wrists of these gloves. Regardless, this allows for the wearer to have coverage from the tips of the fingers all of the way up to the neck. This could be very useful in some harsh work conditions where exposure is an issue. The gloves may look stiff, but they aren’t. The are unusually comfortable and fit pleasantly well. They do little to restrict movement. They are quite flexible, so they conform to the hand and move with little resistance. The fingers may look a little long, but they are likely to be a good fit.The material on the palms is thick but flexible. It has a slightly rubbery surface that will allow the wearer to get that much need firm gasp when it is needed most. The color is appealing and useful. On a noisy job site, it is highly important people can see each others hands. The neon lemon yellow will be easy to see day or night, but the wearer will need to keep in mind the palms of the gloves are matte black, so when signaling at a distance, the wearer may need to use the backs of the hands instead of the fronts.Despite the rigid realities of design considerations, the designer managed to penetrate creative barriers by inserting engaging design elements into the thick, firm armor of the gloves. The subtle lineaments are sure to stand out and attract the attention of every member of your work unit with stunning visual appeal. In conclusion, these are good gloves and might be worth a look. They might be just the thing to get the job done for you. I firmly recommend them.
