I have a Dyson vacuum V10 for pets. I was worried, if I used it often on the tile would damage the head, so I don't use it. When my son told me he has special one for the hardwood floor, I looked into it. I found this one is perfect for my house. It contains a brush in the head and hair removal vanes. It is a perfect add-on for my Dyson.

Laid out side by side this is an exact replacement for my Dyson V8 Absolute. The only difference I can tell is there is slightly less grip to the carpet suction wise than the original. Clicks in and out easily. Functions as it should. Would order again. Price is decent.

I like this replacement head very much. The suction force is very strong. The sealing ring is very easy to absorb and the area is very large.

I bought this to replace my Dyson V7 vacuum head and it fits nicely. It is just like the original Dyson head and I put it on right out of box. I couldn't tell much of difference between this and the original head when vacuuming the hardwood floors and carpets. I would say this is good replacement.
