What else would you expect from a genuine mercury filter? Ordering from amazon was much more convenient than hunting all over town for a filter for my mercruiser. Good price too

Fit on the GM 4.3liter oil filter screw on. Just worried about the size of the actual filter, as the original was almost twice the length.

Good price but a lot smaller than I expected for an OEM recommended oil filter. The NAPA oil filter I removed from previous maintenance on my Mercruiser 4.3L boat engine was longer and probably filtered more dirt in a longer time frame.

It looks like a very good filter, however I didn't read the full description! It says fits all 4.3 mercruisers with BLOCK mounted filters. My bad! I bought a AC Delco PF 454 at a local parts store for my boat with the filter mounted on top of the engine.

So I got this in, product is great. It matches everything the online ad says. I barely got it installed installed though. It could be my boat but, because the boat engine sits low and tucked in the back the filter is difficult to reach down to. I had to get a oil filter wrench and really use some torque to get it off. The person who put it on first could have just over tightened it. Never the less, it's installed and running great! Would buy it again.
