My son is diagnosed with ADHD and can have a hard time settling down, especially before bedtime or to cuddle and watch a show/movie with the family. His teacher suggested a weighted blanket at school to help him sit and settle to get his work done-worked like a charm! So we bought this blanket for at home. He has been so relaxed and his body is calm when winding down for the day with this blanket😍 Falling asleep for him has been easier as well, since his “engine” is always running pretty fastWell made, warm, soft, textured…The only reason I give it 4 stars is because when you pick it up, the weighted materials inside shift around and can become bunched together in one spot. It takes some maneuvering to get it flat again, but not a big deal.

I bought this for my kid who was having some serious trouble sleeping and mild anxiety issues. He has slept great since. The weight is perfect for his size and age. He’s 7. It’s so velvety soft and the texture is really nice. My son loves it and subsist in using it for bed and movies on the couch

I didn’t realize I was buying a kids blanket. So for me what I got was a 10 lb weighted throw blanket. I have to say it’s heavy. Can’t Imagine a kid trying to kick this off them in the middle of the night. When I’m sleeping is not the time I want to strengthen training. The blanket is very hot! A few minutes under this thing and I’m sweating! I am more cold natured these days than hot. When I get cold just covering up with this for a few min has my temperature back to comfortable. So it generates a lot of heat. It is very soft! I haven’t had to clean it yet so I can’t attest to how easy that is.

This blanket is perfect, the cover is soft, and very comfortable for my son, but is also removable, which is great for washing it. A lot of other blankets I looked at did not have a removable cover. The colors are rich and my son loves it. Great purchase!I'm not sure why "light weight" was one of the criteria for rating, as this is a weighted blanket, but anyway.

We bought this weighted blanket for our 14 year old daughter to help with sleep and stress management. We are very happy with our purchase and are considering ordering more for my husband and son. The color is rich; the fabric is soft; and the quality, solid. We did have an issue initially as the wrong color was sent to us instead of the color we ordered. A replacement blanket was in our hands THE NEXT DAY! I couldn't believe how fast this company responded to the mistake. I will definitely order from them again if we decide to order more weighted blankets.

I bought this for my almost 10 year old son and he LOVES it. He has slept with it every night since and has given up all other forms of a sheet/ blanket. I love it bc the soft cover comes off so I can wash it... the weight is perfect. Excellent product!!

This a great product! Great price! I loved that it included the cover. My son is 9 and loves the weight and how soft it is with the little knobby's on the cover! His 17 year old sister loves it so much I keep finding it in her room so I'm considering buying her one of her own to take to college next year. Have recommended this to 2 friends so far!;)

My 11 year old son who has ADHD loves this blanket. It is excellent quality. The material is very soft. He is falling asleep much faster and is not jumping out of bed in the morning. It definitely helps calm him down. The blanket is smaller than a twin size blanket. It’s the size of a large throw. He still uses his comforter but places this on top of his comforter. This is wonderful blanket and I highly recommend it. I can’t believs that I waited this long to purchase it!
