At first I couldn’t do a tight could to save my life. I’m left handed and it rolls opposite of how I roll a coil. I do not like it for teardrop elements because the tension makes them all different. However when rolling a bunch of tight coils it’s great! You do have to be careful lifting the coil off to keep it from unraveling. I do wish it had a speed setting
