it doesn't lay flat. I have to make very strict calculations and follow thru. old one, same brand was perfect.

I love the Quilter's Rule rulers. There is minimal slippage of fabric, unlike other rulers, and I like how I can butt my fabric up to that ridge. This is a replacement for one that I have had for over 20 years. I have a larger rectangle and a square in the Quilter's Rule brand. This size is great for the smaller cutting and also for sticking in my project bag.
