My Weber grill is nearly 20 years old. It works beautifully, but the igniter stopped recently. This one from Amazon arrived right away. It was easy to install and it works like new. Very pleased.

Its a POS the button sticks so you have too pull up on it. Nothing like the original

Looks good, works great. Longevity currently unknown but I think it will last quite a while.

This ignitor is for a model of weber grill that was only made for a couple years and there isn't a lot out there on YouTube on how to rebuild them.I bought new gas tubes, a new thermometer, and this ignitor, and after about 30-45 minutes of work my grill is working like a champ. I only wish I'd done it sooner. The grill is working good as new.The trick with the ignitor box on this one is that it feeds through the hole in the grill body from the inside, and then is secured by folding over the metal tabs against the outside of the grill body. The toughest part is trying to stay clean when you pull out the grills and the "flavorizer" bars.

It was very easy to install and works great. The hardest part was removing the original igniter.

Product works well and is cheaper than Weber's replacement (and I don't have to deal with FedEx's garbage shipping), but there was clearly food grease in the ignition chamber from whomever installed and returned it before, plus the box it came in was used and retaped more than once.Again, product was good, but I'd appreciate a better reconditioning of a returned item if it's going to be sold to me as "new"
