My son loves playing with this book. I just loved that the book was actually fully assembled because the last one I got just like this for my daughter came unassembled and it took me an hour to get all the cut out pieces out and put velcro stickers on not just the hundred or more pieces but also on the pages. Very tedious so I was thankful for the seller for not being lazy and forcing the buyer to do everything. I hate when things come in pieces like we aren't paying enough for products these days and sellers have just taken advantage and started expecting us to assemble the products when that's their job. So for that alone I'm happy with this book.

My son absolutely loves this SO so much. It is right up his alley. other busy books with the same topic is usually too 'introductory' for him but this one actually goes into more detail which he absolutely love. it goes through the different zones and more advanced topics which i think is great for kids who really love this topic. If kids love space, they are usually beyond learning about the 8 planets and want to know more than that. This busy book provides that. Lots of pages, lots of fun velcro items. I love that they threw in the contitents too as part of Earth.

This QUOKKA “Universe” Montessori Busy Book for Toddlers Age 3-5 is packed with information, and it’s a great way for little ones to learn about the solar system.This book comes fully loaded and is super full and quite bulky. It’s not very easy to transport by itself, which is where the included reusable box comes in handy.This is a fantastic quality book, with just so many elements and removeable pieces. They are not actually stickers, but rather small, laminated pieces that can be removed and reattached using the hook and loop fasteners on the back. Extra fasteners are included just in case.Designed and developed in the USA, made in China.Overall, this QUOKKA “Universe” Busy Book is an excellent way for little ones to learn about the solar system and universe. I highly recommend it!

We're a bit fan of Quokka and their educational games / activities!I'm very thankful that this activity book is fully assembled so that we don't have to waste so much time putting the Velcro stickers on. Then again, the last time we got an activity book like this, our kid (around 3 years old at the time) did actually enjoy putting all the stickers on and then figuring out where to put them on the pages afterwards. It was a good activity to keep her busy as an independent activity lol. Therefore, it may be tolerable if your child actually finds it fun to assemble the pieces, whereas this one will require us to dive in with the child to talk and discuss the science lessons right away.I'm not 100% sure about the scientific accuracy of all the pages in this Universe busy book, but it definitely gives us a starting point to learn more about different topics. I think it's short and to the point. It suffices to name and define certain vocabularies. Great starter for preschoolers to maybe 1st or 2nd graders.Highly recommend!

I have (and will have) grandchildren that I hope will develop a love for reading and a curiosity for the world around them. As a result, I have bought numerous books for them since before their births. I am also a space race baby who developed a love for the 'lights in the sky' as a result. This book makes my heart happy, knowing my love for the sky and our planet can be passed on to them. Yes, it isn't just the stars, it has the continents and volcano information, all on little velcro stickies that can be removed and replaced as part of learning. It comes boxed and sealed so it isn't all bent up before your little one uses it. I can see it as pretty colors and pictures for a pre-schooler and an educational book for an elementary student.

My grandson who is now three loves to learn new things! I saw this busy book set and thought is would be a great interactive learning experience. He is at the right recommended age and loves to work with me on the different pages. This book is well made, well thought out. The terms are in an appropriate age level for him to understand. HIs attention is captured by the bright colors and will follow me through as I read and explain each item to him. He is so impressed that he now has a "homework" book, just like his big sister!
