  • Rugged and Reliable: This column is made from high-quality borosilicate glass that has been hand-blown to ensure that it is both durable and reusable, anti-high and low temperature.
  • Design: Distillation columns, also known as vigreux columns, are designed with 7-7/8" deep spikes on the side walls to increase the surface area for liquid condensation.
  • Taper Joint: 24/40 top external and bottom internal standard tapered fittings to connect the distillation flask to the condenser using a three-way distillation adapter.
  • Features: Used for fractional distillation to separate liquids with similar boiling points, the Vigler tower acts as a small condenser, allowing liquids with higher boiling points to fall back into the distillation flask.

I'm really happy with this purchase, I haven't got to use it yet but I'm excited too. Packaging was great, I was sketched out when I saw the box thinking it might have broke but nope. Its a great piece of glass and I'm happy I got it

Works fine but it’s pretty flimsy quality glass. Understandable because of the price. Good enough for limited applications.
