I bought these for those really short, near tack sized nails. I was going to use them to nail velcro hooks to the perimeter of my garage, then later door frames, to put up thermal curtains before the Mississippi summer roles in and just bakes the inside of my house. The issue is, to keep this squeezed you need kind of large hands, which I don't have as a short man. Not to mention the grips are far from comfortable to use.

1 inch or longer nails, it's better to use fingers to hold it.

I used these for a Boy Scout project. They worked great but only if your very careful just to hit the nails. Once the boys missed and hit the tool with the hammer the plastic shattered into bits. Not very durable.
