These are called "hiking boots" but I think they're versatile for many other activities. We ordered the purple in big kid 5 and they fit the "big kid" as expected. Maybe a little wide, but she'll wear socks so that isn't a problem. The shoes are a combo of purple and pink. Very girly and very cute.I like that they're waterproof and slip on with the velcro strap to tighten up at the ankle. They also have a pull loop at the back to make getting them on easy. The soles are non-slip and that's always a good thing. I'll bet her little friends are going to be jealous. These were a great find!

My daughter said she would give them 3.5 stars, but to round up. There is a part of the tongue that kind of pushes into the top of her foot uncomfortably, but the rest feels good. They look little mor bulky than her last hiking shoes, which I don't prefer. Other than that, they feel very sturdy and well-made. She has only worn them for small periods of time, not a proper hike yet, so we will see if they are comfortable over long distances. The colors are accurate and the sizing seems about right.

Very pleased with these hiking boots. My daughter was a bit skeptical because she is used to gym shoes, so the fact that these came up higher onto her leg wasn't something she was initially thrilled about. However, after wearing just once- she didn't want to take them off. Which is saying something, because she is super picky about her shoe fit.I would say the shoes are true to size. My daughter has slightly wide feet, so I was a little worried when she first started to put them on because they seemed tight, but once she got her heel through the opening, they popped on and the fit was great. She says they are VERY comfortable, and has worn them every chance she gets- school, outside playing, bike riding, and "hiking" through the field behind our house. So far, I haven't heard one complaint about any part of the shoe bothering her- and believe me, she lets me know when her shoes bother her in the slightest.The quality is actually impressive for the price. These things are made well, look very durable, and seem like she will outgrow them well before they fall apart. My only slight complaint would be that I wish these came in darker colors- only for the fact that I KNOW they're going to be going through mud and muck sooner than later, and although they're waterproof, I don't think light pink or pastel colors hold up well to mud, clay, and dirt.

I got a 6 girls to wear on my size 8 woman's foot. Fits great. Surprised because I have a wide foot I thought it would be too big. These are kids shoes. Not sure they thought many people would care too much about the quality. If your kids complain about their fit, trust the. It is not the softest cushioning inside for long day or "hiking" wear. They are good walking shoes, even for every day

This is a review for the R CORD kids’ hiking boots in pink, grabbed these mostly for outdoor play and trail walks.The waterproof part is legit—they’ve already seen puddles and wet grass and came back totally dry. The velcro makes it quick for her to tighten them herself, and the top comes up high enough to keep her ankles stiff but comfy. They look even better in person—bright pink, a little rugged, and just cool.The soles are tough and grippy, and they feel sturdy without being heavy. Honestly, one of the better-looking pairs I’ve come across in this size, and they feel built to last.

I ordered these for my duaghter to replace a pair she had outgrown. Great quality material, water resistant, durable and comfortable! Colors are great. Sizes are accurate and true. Great price!

Cute colors, they’re comfortable while hiking. They do scratch easy but my daughter is hard on shoes. True to size. They’re very easy to put on and take off. I love how they have the strap instead of having to tie them. They’re holding up so far. Easy to clean.

I ordered these boots for my youngest daughter. They're a little big on her yet, but she loves the stretchy elastic laces and the Velcro closure around the ankle. They're comfortable for her to wear and she loves the blue, purple, and white color scheme. Fantastic boots - five stars!!
