My refrigerator had more problems so it failed shortly after I installed this but this product seemed to work fine. Solved my problems for a short time but I ultimately had to replace my refrigerator. It was relatively easy to install wish it would have solved all the problems with my fridge!

I have an older Kenmore refrigerator 596.79872990. The timer has been replaced before. This time it stopped advancing or would stick so the defrost cycle did not work consistently. This replacement was the same size and model, fit perfectly , and saved significant $$ from other OEM brands.
