I was worried that the hook-up of these connectors to the low and high sides might not work as smoothly as I wanted. But to my surprise, I was able to connect them with ease. Both connectors are of good quality, precision fit, and good price.

I originally bought these to replace the cheap chromed or "stainless" steel fittings that came with my manifold gauge set that had corroded inside and got all plugged up and I have to say that these worked very well. They just snap onto the R134a ports very easily and hold a very good seal, both under vacuum and refrigerant pressure and since they're made of brass, I don't have to worry so much about them corroding in my carry case when I'm not using them.I'd say the only minor negative thing is that since they don't have an adjustable valve, if you were to try to remove them while the system is under a vacuum, the moment of disconnect would allow a tiny amount of atmosphere air into the system. However, since I didn't need to do that for the job I was doing, that negative didn't apply to me.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and would buy them again if I ever had need of multiple sets of manifold gauges.
