I recently purchased the R134A Valve Core Quick Remover Installer Tool Set, and it has been a game-changer for my AC maintenance. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials that feel solid and reliable. The kit includes both high and low-pressure valve core removers, making it versatile for different systems. What I love most is how easy it is to use—removing and installing valve cores without losing refrigerant is a huge plus! It saves time and prevents unnecessary mess or waste. Whether you’re a professional or a DIYer, this tool set is a must-have for anyone working with R134A systems.Highly recommend! If you’re looking for a well-made, efficient tool, this is definitely worth adding to your toolkit.

A few negative reviews on here said that the valve stem removal part of the tool didn’t clip onto their existing valve core wings. It does not capture the valve at that point, it captures the actual valve stem. When you push it down you should feel a click. The tool works perfectly.

Worked great for its intended purpose. I just replaced the A/C in my daughter’s car and in the process I damaged the original low pressure valve which I didn’t find out until I removed the gauges. I quickly selected this tool with fast shipping to avoid losing the refrigerant and having to evacuate the system…again. Product arrived and I was able to change the valve core in minutes with no further loss of refrigerant/oil. A must have cheap DIY tool to have in your toolbox. Often you’ll find a leaking valve core after removing the gauges or adding refrigerant. Recommend putting a little Nylog on the rubber and inside the tool to help the valve core stay in the tool for easier removal/installation.

I used this to successfully replace the high and low valve cores on my 2002 Saturn SL2 while the refrigerant was still under pressure. It was a quick job.Negative: The gap in the tip of the driver is too large to lift out the old core. It dropped my first core, I had to apply a bit of sticky tack to the driver to retrieve the core. For the second core, I slightly bent the tip of the driver to tighten it's grip. It then worked perfectly.

I was able to replace a valve without losing Freon however getting the bad valve stem through the body of this tool was a challenge Valve stem kept getting hung up halfway out. I finally used the Freon to blow bad stem out.

The fit was good and was working till the valve was open to remove core. The O ring would not seal properly when punger was pulled back. Lost more than half of my refrigerant. Then list more installing core... Don't buy because it's cheap. It cost me a trip to auto part store for almost $100 of replacement refrigerant.

The idea is that you won't open up the closed ac system, so not air or moisture gets in. So far so good, it actually is easier than you think (or not). The only problem as experienced by some here is that one of the forks will not grab the schrader valve once you unscrew it. The fork is too big. I just put some grease on the end and it somehow sticks to it. You could probably also use some other sticky stuff. So I asked myself why did they do this. It came to me when after changing the schrader valves, my ac system was still leaking. The reason for this is that the small schrader valves look all the same but they aren't. The supplied one did not work for my car, so I ordered a complete set here on amazon and found one which not only sealed my ac but also fit the supplied grabbing fork. Good luck.
