My old bag that I first purchased in medical school finally died, so I thought it was time for an upgrade after nearly 30 years. This bag is excellent. Some reviews stated that it doesn't stay open without holding it open, but I've found that if I open it completely it stays open until I close it.I can fit my stethoscope, sphygmomanometer, ophthalmoscope, otoscope, pulse oximeter, reflex hammer, tuning forks, monofilament kit, masks, bifocal safety glasses, some gloves, supplies for a joint injection, pens, bandage scissors, hand sanitizer, some tongue depressors, a couple culture swabs, pretty much anything I need for a house call, with room to spare.Material is a durable and stiff leather, and the handle is comfortable to carry.Very happy with this bag.

Beautiful leather, exquisite craftsmanship. I’m using the bag as a handbag. It’s a great size and for the price it makes me feel insane for the prices I’ve paid for my designer handbags. It has a hinged spring that doesn’t allow it to open as wide as I’d like, but otherwise it’s a wonderful leather accessory.

I'll begin by saying that I love the bag, I love the feel, the make, and when people see it, they love it. Fits all my medical stuff well. I have two complaints, a small one, and a huge one. The small: it won't stay open when you're looking inside the huge bag, easily fixed. The big, huge: the latch broke, I've had it for less than a year, use it almost every day, and it broke, my beloved bag is useless now. I feel terribly and massively robbed and to be honest I loved every other thing about it, just sad...Would not buy again.

I was looking for a replacement for my old autopsy bag. I checked out many sites and just couldn't find a large size bag that I needed. I found RA Bock on Amazon and was very skeptical about what kind of product I was going to receive for the amount of money they were charging for such a bag. Was I ever surprised when the bag arrived. I found it to be top-notch and well constructed. It fits my needs perfectly. I'm still in shock on how little this wonderful bag cost. Comparable bags cost as much as $500. Thank you RA Bock for such a fine product and certainly at a very reasonable cost.Stephen Glasgow, M.D., PhD

My lady is happy with this bag. Details we appreciate:*The leather is thick, beautiful, high quality, finished very well and the black color is deep and consistent throughout the bag.*Bag seems well-constructed and should last.*Fortunately is not as heavy as anticipated.*My lady is impressed with how much it holds.*One small improvement suggestion to the manufacturer would be a tiny light inside (with a finger switch). This size bag is deep, and finding items inside is difficult. Our solution is to attach a tiny LED flashlight (keychain size) to the inside of the bag. But it would be worth paying a few bucks more if the bag came with interior light. This may not matter to you if you intend to carry only larger items.*The handle is comfortable to carry when bag is loaded, and is large enough to hold comfortably, and seems well-made.*There are small feet to protect the bottom of the bag.*The lining is nice, with a side zipper pocket. (Note to MFG: two interior side pockets would be preferred, especially if one pocket had a gusset and could expand a little. Along with pen-shaped and/or phone/shaped non-zip pockets.)*The lining is simple plain fabric but doesn't look cheap.*Bag has a built-in luggage lock with a tiny key. (Note to MFG: two keys would be nice!)*Bag arrived quickly, shipped in exact-size box and was wrapped in a thin fabric bag which can be reused for storage.*The frame hardware does seem to be heavy-duty and it's fairly stiff. There is some difficulty keeping the bag in the open position, and hopefully this will relax a bit with use so that it will stand in the open position easily.*All in all, this appears to be a fine quality item and we look forward to years of use.
