I COULDN'T DO IT AS EASY AS THE VIDEO BUT IT TOOK OUT THE CUS WORDS WHILE CHANGING THE TIRE. I THINK YOU JUST HAVE TO CHANGE A FEW TIRES BEFORE BECOMING PROFICIANT AT IT. NOT SURE WHY IT DIDN'T COME WITH TIRE SPOONS AND THE BACG ZIPPER BROKE RIGHT AWAY AND COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER. THE UNIT IS MADE WELL AND IS EASY TO SET UP AND TAKE DOWN. IF YOU CHANGE TIRES OFTEN YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO HAV IT.

Pricey, but worth it. Makes tire changes easy... I used to really dread installing mousses on the dirt bike and the big tire changes on the ADV bike.... no longer. THis makes short work of tire changes. I think I spend as much time assembling the Rabaconda than I do actually changing the tire. I'm not complaining about the assembly... it's a very nice feature that the Rabaconda breaks down for easy storage and transport. I waited a long time before I purchased... I shouldn't have. I only wish I had bought this sooner.

Brilliant bit of kit. Well designed and easily stored away in its bag after use. Makes tyre changing so much easier. I change all my bikes tyres with this now and am saving £20 each time. Pays for itself quickly.

Ero indeciso se acquistare un altro smontagomme più economico, ma dopo aver usato il Rabaconda sono rimasto estasiato x la facilità di utilizzo e l’aiuto che offre oltre alla praticità di smontaggio/rimontaggio e trasporto

I purchased the Rabaconda to change tires on my Sport Adventure bike. It breaks the bead quite easily and dismounts the rear tire (180 width) with a bit of work, installing the new tire was "quick work". Had my first tire changed in 30 minutes and will probably be a bit quicker in the future. It was very nice to get it done at home without the hassle and wait of taking it to the Bike Shop.

I had big hopes for this. I really did. I brushed off the real-life reviews showing (ahem) difficulties as submitted by klutzes — that surely wouldn’t happen with me. I would slap those tires on the rim just like the rabaconda salesman.Maybe my 5th tire will work that way. Will see in a few days. The first four were misery.1. The real redeeming quality is in the spoons (they’re not included) They are long and sturdy. But I must be a really strong 57 year old because I already bent one. But I’m still not complaining. The rest of the contraption serves mainly to just hold the rim at a semi-not-too-uncomfortable height. Seriously. That’s all it really does.2. The lever-action “claw” does break the bead. It sure as crap doesn’t push the tire off the rim. It will seriously tear the tire if you really try and mimic that salesman. His tires were so loose in the video as to be laughable. Re-watch the video. Don’t believe me? Buy one and prove me wrong. With a nice, new, sturdy Mx tire.3. Two people really help. While the contraption holds the rim the second person can really help you pull on those spoons. Use lots of lube and triple check you don’t pinch the tube. Yes, yes keep the opposite side of the tire centered in the rim. Choosing a sturdy assistant is recommended. A second person also helps keep that long lever for the “claw” out of the way. What purpose does that thing serve again? At State Fair MX I watched an older gentleman swap out a tube in 30 minutes using old-school spoons while sitting in the back of his truck. Then tear up the main track. I can only imagine his laughter if he watched me (and my assistant) clank-clank set up the rabaconda and proceed to entertain him.Save your money and just learn to change a tire. I’m not sending mine back because I already put the rabaconda sticker on my moto van. Plus I’m stubborn and don’t want to admit I made a huge mistake.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

4.16.2018 - Part 1. Just recieved my new Rabaconda Tire Changer. I was very impressed with the literature which came with it. There were three documents. The first document I reviewed all the parts sent. I used this to avoid problems I've had in the past with other products only to find out parts were missing. All the parts were in my box. The second was instructions. They were very simple to follow. There were several illustrations which I really like in any set of directions. Putting the stand together took no more than 15 minutes. It would of been faster, but I wasn't in a hurry or doing it for time. The third document was about Bib Mousse inserts. Much of the details and suggestions I was unaware of until I read this document. It only makes sense if you read the small section about the history of organization. They have many, many years and input from many racers that I believe has allowed them to create this product and provide this documentation.I bought this after much research. There were cheaper versions, but I decided to go with this unit because of all the extras they put into its manufacturing versus the cheaper other versions. A big reason I made a purchase is because I just changed Bib Mousses and tires on an upright stand. It was a nightmare. I was cussing and throwing wrenches. In the past I had a friend change them with his stand. I have a new profound respect for changing Bib Mousses.I'm hoping to add on to this review following the use of it. So far I'm super please and not disappointed I spent more money on what appears to be superior stand. I plan on letting my friend who changes tires on his stand use the Rabaconda as well to see if he thinks there's a difference between his cheaper stand and the Rabaconda. My only suggestion would be to add suggestions on the best way to pack the bag it comes with and add standard measurements for people in the US who buy it (measurements and tire pressures referenced.)The second part of my review will occur within the next 30 days-ish.5.2.2018I changed out a front Kenda 21" tire reusing the Bib Mousse. I had a friend do it that has no experience using the tire stand. I read him the directions, step by step. Following the tire change, he said it was simple and easy. * The one thing we felt would be of benefit is the step where you are now putting the top/2nd part of the bead onto the rim. In the video, it says to insert one iron into the bead/rim and secure in the slot next to the changers arm. This is done right next to the rim lock. We had a issue when we completed the bead mounting as we came back to the opposite side of the rim lock. In the future, I will insert an iron on both sides seating the rim lock. This way when I come around the tire, It will be completely mounted. The issue was the spot where you are suppose to leverage with an iron to push the rim lock bolt in, was a little difficult. By seating it in at the start, I wont have this issue. See picture to help understand my explantion.

Well worth the money if you are changing tires and mousses by hand. I bought mine and had it shipped to work, I opened it and put it together as soon as it arrived and was never more excited to go change a tire (see photos of package and system). I am a firm believer in the Rabaconda's value after the first tire change, took less than 5 minutes, and didn't break a sweat or tear any knuckles. The multitude of videos made it easy to use the first time and almost effortless. I would suggest buying the tire irons as well, they truly helped with removing/replacing the tire. I've been using a wheel stand and 17" tire irons and way too much force, but those days are gone.If I had to find one thing to label as a weakness it would be putting the system back in the carrying bag. I figured out the way to make it all fit in the bag, but I felt like I was working on a puzzle. Once I found a good order to place parts in, it fit well (see photo)
