Item looks well put together. The wire gauges seem appropriate compared to the OE part. I like to have some parts on hand when I am traveling just in case I have a failure. Depending where one might end up, parts can be hard to come by quickly for performing your own repairs on the road. This was an item I ordered to have on hand just in case there were to be a failure.I believe the fail state for a temperature sensor of this nature is to run the fans on full speed. Not a bad backup plan but if this goes on for a long time time it can cause premature wear to your fans, motors, etc. When it is time to use this part I will update my review with the outcome and over time can also update on the longevity of the replacement part. So far it looks good.
