Flying RC since 1990, I had a break in the past 10 or so years. Things changed, especially with radios! This thing would have cost thousands 'back in the day'. I'm blown away at the abilities of this radio, and that it comes with 2 receivers, just wow! I did upgrade the battery pack, but used the included AA tray several times. I'm no expert, but as an old man getting back into my hobby, this is a fantastic find and does way more than I'll ever use it for.

I really do love this radio. The interface is a little rough compared to the Spektrum stuff though! There's very little youtube videos about usage. A lot of trial and error. I would NOT buy again, not because it is horrible, but for the price, I think there are better options. The biggest plus, IT ISN'T SPEKTRUM! I truly HATE safe modes and computer assisted flight. That was the number one reason to purchase an off brand. SPEKTRUM can shove SAFE up their REAR! I will never buy a PNP Horizon model again! I've ripped spektrum receivers out and never looked back. So, for those of us old school folks who want new radios with lots of channels, but no BS computer assist, I do think this is a solid choice. Just wish there was more support info out there. Oh well, live and learn.PS: To be clear, the radio is SOLID. Usable, likeable. I just would rather have gone with something more popular for the support. I won't mention brands, but I do think OPEN SOURCE radios are superior. Just didn't do enough investigation prior to purchase.
