This is literally the 4th set of ramps I bought, for loading my riding mower in the back of my truck. 1st set was heavy steel, narrow, and too short for the mower to get up without problems. 2nd set had no place.for the tires to get traction, so the mower would spin tires at the bottom, instead of climbing up. The 3rd set had large spaces in the rungs, so the front tires would get hung up.THESE RAMPS ARE PERFECT FOR LOADING MOWERS!! These are wide enough to feel very stable when you drive up. These are long enough to not be a steep climb and catch the mower deck on the tailgate. These have excellent traction on the rungs, and as a bonus they're lightweight, fold up, and have straps. I wish i found these first. I cant recommend them enough.

The ramps work great. Definitely noted the added support and security when using the tie-down straps. I’ve hauled dirt bikes and a large air compressor using one or both of the ramps. Solid construction and light weight to store and use.

Used a few times now with my 2006 Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI. Combined weight of me and the ATV is almost 1,000 lbs and the ramps felt sturdy as I used them to load the ATV in the bed of my truck. My truck sits on 33" all terrain tires and has a 2" lift, so I was worried about the angle being too steep. These ramps at 7.5 feet in length are just enough to not feel too dangerous. You still have to strap the ramps down to your truck and take your time going up them, but I never felt like the ramps were going to give or I was going to fall. You have to be comfortable with ramps just barely wider than your tires and being able to keep the ATV straight. If you're worried about that, then you'll want to get wider ramps. It's not the fault of these ramps, the measurements shown are exact. These work perfect for me because I wanted light ramps that can easily fold and fit under the ATV or in my truck's back seat. These were exactly what I needed at the best price.

I purchased these to load my golf cart into my truck. I got to try them out this past weekend. They are very sturdy and well constructed as well as being light enough to easily carry both w/o any strain. When folded I can slide both of them under my golf cart while travelling. I did see a reviewer here say somthing about only having spot welds holding the aluminum together. I can assure you the pair I recieved have much larger than just spot welds. The welds are thick and very well done. The cross bars are solid aluminum rods and welded at three points. The larger connecting points around the pivot area have more than one large weld points as well. The entire ramps are aluminum with large S.S. nuts and bolts where they fold, I have no worries about the regidity of these ramps. Great bang for the buck. I would recommend these to anyone looking to load 1500 lbs or less into the back of thier truck.I would like to add that I decided to purchase add on tailgate supports that add some security in the event one of the stock cables ever give out. Its just piece of mind in protecting my truck, my cart as well as myself. Just wanted to add that bit of info to anyone loading heavy items into the back of thier trucks via ramps as there is a large amount of weight on the stock tailgate cables. The cables are strong but they are crimped onto the connection pieces at the ends, so though the steel cable itself may never give out, the crimped connection could let go more easily! Happy and safe loading your toys to all!

So many non-informative reviews out there-hopefully this one helps-I was faced with either buying a trailer to move my mower (a trailer would cost $1000) or buy a set of ramps like these for about $130. I opted for the ramps. What size mower you may be asking? It's a 42" cut John Deere 135-or let's just say your standard run of the mill 42" cut mower. The mower weighs a little under 600 lbs. With me on it-looking at 800 lbs-so the ramps are plenty strong. I thought the connecting straps looked a little cheap-so I replaced with better ones. What kind of truck am I loading the mower into? A Titan crew cab with 5.5 feet bed. Drove it straight in-tried to back the mower in but it could not get enough traction. I leaned forward as I loaded it to keep weight more evenly distributed. Loading is easy. The mower deck drags a bit at the very top, since the arch is not huge-but this does not hinder the loading or unloading process. Unloading-make sure ramps are lined up (I put small markings on the tailgate so I could line up quickly) then slowly start backing down. You won't even need the engine since gravity will pull you down the ramp after you get the rear wheels and deck over the top portion of the ramp. I gently modulated the break to get the mower down. Be sure the straps are secure-because if you slam on the breaks going down the ramps, they could slip off your tailgate. Anyway, a pretty good buy-a slightly greater arch and another foot in length would be a good improvement. Buying these was cheaper than a trailer-and I don't have to store a trailer-these ramps fold, are light, and don't take up much garage space.

These ramps seem very sturdy, handling my 500lb Pony lawn tractor with ease. The deck does catch a little on it going up, but not too bad. The construction seems sturdy and the straps easily lock in place to prevent backsliding. The little arch helps minimize scraping from the deck, but some mowers still catch on it (the Murray and my Pony are two, A Husqavarna did not catch on it). None of the mowers caught during offloading, maybe it was just the blades in the wrong position. This is a great set of ramps well worth the money in my humble opinion.

The ramps came and at first I was a little worried because getting them for 99 bucks made me think of the cheaper riveted kind at tractor supply. I way 350 lbs and have a Grizzly 700, and these ramps worked flawlessly loading the ATV into my Silverado 4X4. The rungs are welded and they are really light weight and being able to fold them I was able to get longer ramps than what I had prior and still fit in my short bed. Definitely money well spent!
