Quality Material
The drywall hawk is made of premium aluminium sheet, which is rustproof, lightweight, and has a smooth surface. Its handle uses PP and TPE plastic, which is wear-resistant and non-slip.
Easy to Mount
Follow the three simple steps to complete the installation. Insert the handle into the round base. Put the handle on the side without ring patterns. Use a screwdriver to fix the bolt into the hole from the other side (make sure the handle and the bolt are in line when mounting the bolt).
Generous Blade Area
The dimensions of the blade is 300mm x 300mm(11.8 inch x 11.8 inch) to allow a generous amount of mortar to be held for plastering.

This hawk is OK. It is lightweight, has a nice, beefy, soft handle, and is straight and square. However, somehow it makes me wish my old Goldblatt hawk, but then, that one cost more than twice what this did, and this will be fine for the plastering I need to do in my house. It sure came with lots of scratches on it. I notice from another reviewer's photo that theirs was scratched as well. Doesn't really affect the hawk's performance though.

This is a nicely machined hawk. The surface is very smooth which makes is easy to clean. The grip is perfect for my big hat hand and it's not too heavy. I also like that the corners are rounded so you don't jab yourself.

Yep, I'd call this lightweight. I've ordered this for some home DIY, for helping me cover a tired garden wall. I liked the rubbery feel non slip handle, and it is also a decent sized handle for my (small) large hand.
