My husband thought these were a little bit silly at first when I ordered them for him, but it had been raining almost a couple times a week for months straight and he loves working in the yard. There were times when the grass would grow so fast that it was 4 or 5 inches before the rain stopped and he was off work to cut it, so these boots quickly became the thing he never knew he needed! He liked going barefoot when he was young and foolish, but he now has a wise wife to order him rainboots and appreciate his impressive gardening skills! Seriously though, there are woods and a stream so there is a possibility of copperheads and cottonmouth snakes in our area and our backyard ends at the woodline where the wildlife begins, so we get visitors sometimes! When he wears these boots out, I will memorialize them into a planter because we are DIYing this yard front to back like crazy - turns out you can't stop a guy whose always dreamt of having his own backyard! LOL

These mid ankle rain boots are pretty nice for rain boots. Unlike some that are stiff blocky rubbery things, these are soft and flexible half knee high boots perfect for a casual walk in the park or working in mud. They are soft, but hold their shape vertically pretty well. The straps on top help seal it down so less water and debris gets in. I recommend tying the straps in a knot at the end though, or else the button tensioning thing will fly off. It comes with some light weight foam insoles, which aren't bad and helps cushion but they aren't great either. If you do a lot of walking in these, I suggest getting better insoles as I can see these flattening out quite quickly.

I got these rubber boots for my son, they’re perfect! They look and feel like they are well made. These boots come right below his knee and and perfect for his needs.These feel pretty comfortable, the color is great and are easy to clean off if you get anything on them. These are great for a rainy day or a day working in conditions where he needs more than tennis shoes, but not his heavy steel toed boots.This was packaged well and shipped quickly.Amazon sent this to me in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I use these around the farm for irrigation and getting through the mud. They’re comfortable and hold up well.
