I bought this for my adult son who grew up playing the piano and guitar. He loves this steel tongue drum. It has a soothing resonance, creating a peaceful atmospher.

I have a tiny version of this type of drum and love it. So I got the larger one and it's awesome! The sound is so beautiful. You don't even have to play a real song. You can just pull it out with the mallets and start playing anything that makes your heart happy. The sounds are joyful and it's very calming. If you feel like making music, or you don't really know any instruments or have any musical talent, this is for you. And if you feel like learning how to play it in a way that makes the actual songs, it would be really fun.

Tones are not a good quality sound. Found better at Balmy drums. And Amazon has changed something in returning where they send you another after you return the first. 🤬

I can't get enough of this drum when I get it.Very easy to pick up and there are 15 notes in total that can be used to play most of the songs. If you feel that the sound is not accurate, you can adjust it, and the instruction manual tells you how to adjust the sound.The quality of this drum is quite good, the material is wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, and it is waterproof. 13 inch steel tongue drum has a braided rope around the periphery, (it is best to remove the braided rope that comes with it), and the sound effect is a little better.

Gift for my friend, she loved it. She said this gold color is really absolutely beautiful and you can see a little glitter in the sunlight. She is going to keep this gold 13 inch steel tongue drum inside her room.By the way, when I practiced yoga with the rest of my friends, she was playing for us on this 13-inch steel tongue drum, the sound was very nice, very ethereal, as if my mind sank along with the ethereal drums, and my other friends said they had never been so focused.

A nice, self-contained kit with everything you need, including a carrying case, mallets, picks, and an instruction book. Looks nice, and the basic tones are relaxing.My only issue is that some of the higher tones are a little out of tune (which you can definitely hear when you play to tongues that are an octave apart. The instruction booklet gives directions for how to tune the instrument, but I'm not sure I have the confidence to start filing away bits of the base of the tongues!
