This is so cool. The 3-D effect brings a whole new perspective to our Bible study.

I first found a 3D Map of Israel in a shop at Capernaum, it made such a difference seeing the geography of the Holy Land 3D and helped me understand the Bible sooooo much better. I've been looking for a similar map for the last few years, and I finally found this one! I liked this one better than other 3D maps of Israel because it included both modern day details of cities, airports, etc. and also included ancient sites and details, things mentioned in the Old Testament and those in the New Testament, such as Mount Tabor, Bethlehem, the Sinai Desert, etc. It also included southern Israel and just the tip of the Red Sea and a bit of Egypt which helps immensely if you are trying to get your bearings of how far the Israelites had to travel before they reached the promised land. My map also came with a nice backing of hard material, something in between cardboard and particle board, which will help it withstand being passed around in my classroom. I agree with the other reviews that the type and detailing is hard to see, so if you have poor eyesight you will need a magnifying glass. Overall, I'm very happy with this product! Thank you!
Love the sandals. Super comfortable.

Loved the map. Colors are vibrant and the raised topography is a great introduction to the land. Gave it to my son and his family of young children as they are planning to live in Israel. Great learning tool. TY

I love this map. I had no idea of how many mountains Israel has, or valleys. This sows great detail. It’s small, but that is what I wanted. It’s hanging in our prayer room so when we pray for or hear news about Israel - we can see where. I really like it. A great gift idea too.

It’s small and made of a very thin layer of plastic that is pretty much a topographical 3D impression of the state of Israel on one side and hollow on the back side. Weight is as light as a small piece of cardboard and since it’s a thin piece of plastic it is fragile. Thankfully it arrived intact and is on the wall in my house.

I have been to Israel. I teach Bible to high school. I have a Masters degree. I love the size and the way the map helps students grasp the importance of the terrain. Why is it important? Both Christianity and Judaism are the only "historical" faiths in the world. "Historical" meaning that God chose to reveal Himself to people in actual history to actual people. The narrative stories, the poetry, the teachings & prose are all tied to the land and history. The Bible presents itself as a history of God's self-revelation to a particular people in a particular place. As a result, if you really want to understand its message--a good topographical map is a huge help. That's why in my opinion this little map is a great teaching tool.

Really helps when reading Scripture! You can see the hills and valleys, woodland and rivers. I just wish it was larger!(so I took a picture with my phone to zoom in on areas of interest.)
