The title pretty much says it all, if not then I included a pic to show you. This pole uses thicker steel than my auger blades which tells me that if anything fails it definitely won't be the extension.

Glad I bought this. Depending on where you are in the country, there are different freeze point depths. Usually we dig to 2-3’ deep in Ohio. This extension allows me to go even deeper with the post-hole digger. Nice heavy piece of steel.
