These are great! We got them for when our grandkids come over! They live ramen and like to “cook themselves”….we thought this would be a good intro product to teach them kitchen safety. It works surprisingly well! You literally put the water in the bottom bowl, drop the noodles in the middle bowl, cover with the lid and cook as directed in the microwave. The bowls don’t get hot to the touch so I feel better allowing our 8 and 9 year olds to manage the microwave safely with little help. We usually dump the water and just eat the noodles with the flavor packet so this makes it super easy because you just lift the noodles holder, dump the water and season! They are the perfect size for kids and adults alike!

This is a nice little set that definitely makes preparing ramen more convenient than simply microwaving water in a regular bowl. The larger bowl with the handle lives up to its 4.25-cup capacity claim, though I'd recommend not to fill it completely to avoid spills. The smaller bowl, which holds two cups, is a surprisingly useful size and can indeed serve as both a lid and a phone holder, which is a clever touch. One thing to be aware of is that these bowls do transfer a fair amount of heat after microwaving. While the handle on the larger bowl feels secure and not wobbly when lifting, I still found myself instinctively using the included silicone trivet for added support underneath. However, the price point is where this set really loses me. At $25.99 for the two bowl sets (making it approximately $12.99 per set), it feels outrageously expensive. While the overall set boasts 14 pieces, that comes out to approximately $1.86 per item, and it still doesn't justify the initial price tag in my opinion. Even with the current sale price of $19.99, the value just isn't there for me. Having received this through the Amazon Vine program, I can say with certainty that I would not have purchased it with my own money at this price.

These make it so much easier to cook noodles when you don’t have time to make them on the stove!!!! I bought some of these for my son when he went to college and he said they really came in handy. You just put the strainer in the big bowl, put your raw noodles in, pour boiling water in with the noodles, and cover it with the smaller bowl upside down. I leave it like that for about 10 mins., and then I put the seasoning in with the noodles and water, and mix it with the little utensils that come with it. Sometimes I pull the strainer up and dump the noodles in the smaller bowl, and then pour a little bit of the liquid in with it. (I don’t like a lot of soup with my noodles.) Maybe I’m doing it all wrong, but it works for me!I got the pink one for me and the black one for my husband. He uses his almost every day for lunch. They do not take up much more room than a bowl and they are dishwasher safe.

If you can't be bothered to stand at a stove to cook instant ramen, then these ramen cookers are for you! The bowls came exactly as described and with instructions. I followed them to a T ( a 7yr old could easily follow them) and my ramen came out perfect- no over or under done ramen. Since I have 2 sets I can even skip dishes! I would definitely give this set as a gift!P. S I knocked off a star because the included plastic silverware is a childs size. Not a deal breaker but just weird that the silverware and chopsticks were so small.

I was really excited about these bowls because I almost never want to spend time making ramen on my stove top (I know it's like ONE extra thing to wash, but ugh). I also never end up getting the amount of broth I want in the bowl, so this seemed like a great option because of the strainer feature. Here are the issues I had with these bowls:(1) These are definitely made more for circular ramen blocks. I have square-shaped ones (or sometimes straight noods), so I had to break up my ramen in order to get it all to fit in basket. For me, that's kind of a bummer because I don't like to break up the noodles. It also made cooking a little more of a task because I had to go back in and poke around to make sure all the noods were soaking up broth.(2) The serving bowl is almost spilling over with noodles (not a big deal, but easier to make a mess). Pouring the broth into the bowl ended up being a bit of a mess for me. I kinda wish there was a spout to make the pouring a little friendlier. On the whole, I still like these bowls a lot. They're very cute, no issues in the microwave or dishwasher. I just wish they fit the square ramen in a way that I wouldn't have to break it up so much.
