This is our second soft top. Zipper on one of the windows broke on the first one. We were hoping we could just replace the one window but couldn’t find it.We are happy with the new one so far

To be honest, I really like the product. Yes it was a mission to get the front windows on but when we finally got them, I was very happy. The only bad thing I can say about this product, and I’m absolutely spewing about it, is that the teeth on the back window zipper are broken. Unfortunately, this is the only reason I purchased a top. For a new back window. I’m unable to get a hold of the seller to request a new one. Now I’m stuck with a broken back window until I can afford to buy a new top. Other than that, in the hopes that the teeth would be fine, I’d recommend it.

1. Took a while to come2. Please note you are only buying the skin of the soft top little $$$ but still, I ordered.3. Had to order the front header and tailgate bar sperate only because I have seen other reviews I knew to buy also.4. So now I am into this for over $700... okay5. But now I go to install and of course (No door surrounds which you need to also buy) add $350.. to this install.6. But oh yeah now you need to buy the door knobs.....OMG I am now over $1000My advice BUY THE FRAME SOFT TOP KIT save yourself the headache of waiting for almost a month for everything to arrive after you have already removed the hardtop

Door skins do not fit over rugged ridge door frames. Rear window bar plastic parts broke .

Only took 7 days to get from USA to Queensland Australia. Easy to install and is a nice tight fit.

1st the pictures they have don’t do this thing the justice it deserves inside the top it has mesh pouches on the inside2nd I was a little worried about how it would look on my black Jeep but honestly this top looks amazing and has very nice windows the material it’s made of is thicker and is stitched very nicely3rd It has a very very very tight fit across the Jeep it took me a little bit of time to get it on due to how tight it was after it stretches out it will be easier. Basically this translates to tight means no leaks and I like not having a pool of water in my floorboards and the smell of possible mildewed seats.I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and I will be ordering from this company again!!!I will leave another review on this product in a year or so depending on how well it hold up but judging off the quality of this top as of now I would almost guarantee it will be another 5 stars

I give this 5 stars because it is very well made, and when finally installed looks beautiful and fits perfectly on a 97 TJ. Be sure to scroll down to the description and make sure you are ordering the right color, and whether yours is made for doors or no doors or half doors or whatever, as the descriptions at the top of the Amazon page are terrible.I'm not going to take any stars off but there is an issue:The four self threading bolts that are supposed to hold the brackets to the center roll bar are JUNK and all of them snapped while trying to thread them into the roll bar. They're softer than aluminum foil and I had to spend hours figuring out how to extract one of them, finally gave up and just drilled another hole after the extractor snapped inside the bolt.I went to Lowes and just bought four real bolts of the same size for about five bucks and used those instead.Also, be sure you have a good drill with a good 1/8" bit because you are going to have to drill four holes in the back. My TJ was already marked at the factor as to where the holes needed to be drilled.It comes with a window carrier so you can bring your windows with you tucked in behind the back seat without scratching them if the top is down, no need to buy an extra window carrier.It took me all day to get it installed on a vehicle that had never had the hard top off in it's life.It would probably only take me 2 hours now that I know what I'm doing.Getting the top up takes about 1/2 hour. Getting it down takes about the same amount of time. It takes that long because I'm extra careful with the windows, I don't want to scratch them.

My original bowed top decided to finally give up the ghost in November in Wisconsin. So I ordered this top as a replacement, knowing that many reviewers note that it fits very snugly. They are right. Getting it on the first time in cold weather was interesting, and took me over an hour. At this point, I can't quite close the zippers on either side of the rear window, but I think that I will be able to once the weather warms back up. I've been able to close up the top fine other than that.I decided on this top because I like the idea that it is bowless, so it can slide on and off without me needing to remove my cargo rack or futz with the bow connectors, and because I usually drive with the windows out but the top up during the summer, which is what this top is designed to do. I also like the built-in window storage. The look is different from the original, not better, but different, and I personally like it.The thing that impresses me the most about this top is how quiet it is. The original top would constantly thump and rattle at highway speeds, particularly in cold weather. It was like being inside of a drum. This top still rattles a little, but you can actually have a conversation inside the TJ without shouting. The difference is really remarkable.The bigger windows are nice, as is the tinting. There are little cargo nets at the front that are handy.The material is probably about half the thickness of the original top's, but feels pretty tough and will hopefully last a few years. The construction is also not quite as beefy as the original. There is a tensioning strap that is too short if you have a soundbar--the company should really just make it a foot longer and let owners cut it to the length they need. I bought a 1" wide compression strap from the camping section at Wally World for a couple of bucks (similar to this one: http://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-Products-8053p008-Lashing-Strap/dp/B004H2IURW/) that fixes the problem and matches the top's strap.You do lose a couple of inches of headroom in the back, since the top sits right on the rollbars rather than being lifted up by bows.Completely putting the top down (or, in this case, taking it off) should only take a couple of minutes, but putting it back on will take much longer than pulling up the original top. I'd guess probably 10 - 15 minutes in warm weather with practice. So, if you like to flop the top down for a drive then put it back up quickly, this top probably isn't the best option.Overall, I'm very happy with the top so far.UPDATE 6/16/2013: The weather finally broke 80 degrees, so I parked the Jeep out in the sun for a few hours and let the top warm up. It made a huge difference. The windows became much softer and more stretchy, and I was able to zip everything closed easily. Hopefully the top will stay stretched out so it will still be easy to close this fall when the weather cools down again.UPDATE 11/4/2019: The top is still hanging in there, barely. Which is remarkable. I didn't expect that it would last anywhere near 7 years. It'll rip pretty soon, so I'm shopping for a replacement. The windows no longer have enough stretch in warm weather to completely close the back window, so I use a couple of strips of 4" wide double-sided velcro to cover the gap. I won't buy this specific top again due to the snug fit having become more and more of a hassle over the years, but will stick with a frameless top. Would I recommend it? Maybe. It has proven to be a good deal for the price, I like the look, and it has lasted longer than expected. If they made it a little looser, sure, I'd recommend it, but not strongly.
