The picture shows these as yellow zinc coated however the box I got had one of them yellow zinc and all the hardware yellow zinc , but the other 3 were clear zinc. I specifically ordered these because they show them as yellow zinc. How hard can it be for Rancho to provide them all with the same finish??? My CJ is now 41 years old and I plan to keep it clean as opposed to mudding it so am rebuilding for appearance. Most of these that I find on the internet (rancho and others) show the yellow zinc picture but thats not what you end up getting. Eastwood sells a kit to "paint" them to look like yellow zinc and thats what Ive ended up doing but its not the same as the real zinc plating.

Just uses Nylock nuts and standard washers, not the heavier duty nuts and thick washers normally used by quality u-bolts kits.

Fit the CJ with no problems. About 6.5 inches long which allowed for the 4 degree wedges and CJ leveling shims. Looks and Rides level.

Bought these to replace old junky ubolts on a 1980 CJ5. Fit great.

This bolt kit worked well as a replacement for my 1979 CJ5 Jeep. I had to replace my broken leaf spring plates and the old bolts were so rusted that I replaced them with these. This kit is for the front of the Jeep only... two of the smaller bolts go over the front left axle area, and the other pair (one small, one large) are for the front right side.I gave them four stars because the bolts were sooooo long, probably made that way to accommodate a variety of leaf spring combinations. After I installed them I cut them off with a grinder because they stuck down so much and were very visible. I probably cut off 1" of extra bolt material.

I received the parts, disassembled the front end and went to install the u_bolts. It was when doing the install I discover that they sent three correct u_bolts but one was the wrong size, I had to walk seven miles to a auto parts store ans get the correct part. Then had seven mile walk back to finish the job.
