I purchased 4 of the rancho shocks for my Jeep Wrangler in late February and installed them in March. By the end of September the two front ones completely failed. It appears that all the gas leaked out and the shocks would bottom out when going over any bump. According to their website there is only a 3 month limited warranty. At this point the two rear shocks are still working fine.

Installed these on a 2014 Wrangler JK 2-door soft top after doing a mild 2” lift. Ride is much better now with these Rancho 9000xl shocks at all 4 corners. I also installed a steel bumper with a winch and the adjustable shocks made it easy to fine tune the ride and dampening of the shocks. I have the front shocks set at 7 and the rears set at 5. I have adjusted them down to 3/4/5/6 and each adjustment you can tell the difference. Its very slight, but noticable. Overall, very pleased with these shocks and how well they ride.

Great part. Very high quality. For the record, these front shocks come with a quality flexible rubber boot, which works well for the location on a Jeep Wrangler. Even includes a cable tie to hold the boot securely in place.

Best shocks... my 2016 jeep wrangler unlimited with 3 inch lift and 35 inch tires ride really good. A must buy

These are great shocks, they are comfortable for a lifted vehicle and would use them again especially considering the amount of money for the alternatives, such as bilstein or fox. The reason they received only 3 stars is because one of the main reasons we purchased them was because of them being adjustable. We understand that you will never get close to a stock ride with a lifted vehicle, however there in our opinion there is no adjustment, yes there is a dial from 1-9 but we're here to tell you it might as well just be 1 & 9, if there was a difference between 1 and 5 we could not tell at ALL. it is the same ride. 9 is stiff for the desert roads and what you need for that.

These shocks are awesome! Ride quality is better than stock and it's nice for every application. Off road...on road....pulling a heavy trailer...love them!

Shocks are always one of my first upgrades. These feel soft and confident, and improves the ride quality to close to that of a luxury SUV (as close as you can get with two solid axles).I prefer a firm ride thats forgiving over bumps, so I keep my front shocks dialed in around 7 and rear shocks around 5. When towing, I like to crank the rear all the way up to 9.While these might not be as flexy as others in this price range, they are an excellent upgrade to any setup for a great mix of comfort, utility, and off-roadability.
