It was original equipment for the Rancho shocks that are on my truck.

I am finding a hard time finding parts for my H3 nowadays… was looking for bushings for the sway bar. I guess because of current supply chain issues, it was going to months before getting the Rancho bushings for my H3 (lifted)… BUT THESE WORK PERFECTLY.

No son muy duraderos, a cierto tiempo se degradan y se deshacen.Sin enbargo son la medida standard de los rsncho shocks

A little tricky to get into the shock eyelets but these things are sturdy! Noise is completely gone from the old rotted ones. I highly recommend these for replacements!

Bought a set of these from an auto parts store but they stop selling them and those ones have lasted longer (4 years no wearing) than the ones that came on my RoughCounty shocks. Wanted to replace the ones that come in my Bilstein since my previous ones have lasted so long.

I didn’t know these would have been replaced for free by Rancho as this is a lifetime warrantied part as I’m the original purchaser of my RS9000 adjustable shocks but reguardless it wasn’t that much and they fit great, now I’ll get more years out of my shocks. Just like any big object going in tight hole haha take some lube and give it a lil dab and it’ll slide in easier. I used a pulley installation tool to press it nice and slow like into the shocks. You can also use a C-clamp. I wouldn’t recommend smacking with a hammer but hey whatever float your boat. Would buy if I needed some that weren’t warrantied.

Exactly what I needed. A couple of the bushings were gone or well on their way in my lifted '85 Chevy K10 and I couldn't find replacements for my shocks (not Ranchos). So after checking a few different ones I took a chance and bought these for all four shocks because they "looked about right". I had to slightly trim the lower front ones with a razor blade to fit the mounts on my truck but the rest were a good fit and no more rattles.

Had anoise from the front end of my 2004 Ford F-250. After shaking down the front end and replacing the sway bar links the noise persisted. Finally found that the right upper shock bushing was mostly gone. Ordered these and the straight ones as there are two designs for the same shock. Turns out these were the correct ones. They are a little tougher to install than the factory rubber but should last longer and the truck is running quiet now.

Rancho RS978 5/8" hourglass polyurethane shock bushings, Rancho type L1.These are the polyurethane bushings specified by Rancho (Rancho type L1 5/8") for use in the lower mount of my front Rancho RS5136 shocks but the inside diameter (ID) was too large without the use of the original steel sleeves/spacers/inserts, one of which was broken. I had to press the sleeves out of my spare set of Bilsteins and install them with these bushings in order to make these bushings work with my approximately 7/16" lower shock mount bolts.Rancho, for their part, would have reportedly warranted the entire shock for the lower bushing failure (in my 10+ year old second hand shocks) but I didn't learn that until I called Rancho tech support for availability of the upper bushings (Rancho type S42) in polyurethane which prompted them to send me a conventional set for both front shocks free of charge and within a week. There is no mention that the sleeves need to be retained or obtained but the specifications at Rancho clearly state 5/8" for these bushings so my risk for ordering them without measuring.5 stars for good quality polyurethane bushings made in the USA and excellent customer support.
