Rancho RS9000XL shock series are engineered with nine position tuning technology that provides nine different levels of shock performance. I will be removing these from my lifted 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited this week (4/18). I have to say, they were nice in the beginning, however, after time went by, they started to lose their ability to dampen faster than other shocks. Another problem that arose was that the adjustment knobs are highly susceptible to damage in off road conditions. I suppose if you're not going to go off road in your lifted Jeep...(why did you bother lifting it in the first place) then you shouldn't have any trouble. In all, they lasted 2 seasons of off road abuse, but I had to replace two of the adjustment knobs, one on the front and one on the rear. I have purchased the equivalent in non adjustable, and hope for the best.

I switched to these after an expensive set of adjustable King's proved too harsh. These give much better ride off or on road.

I put these on with the RocKrawler 2.5 suspension lift and couldn't be happier. I like how the stock suspension felt and this combo is pretty close. I put them on 3 for the highway, around town, and the trails that I ride. I bump it up if I am towing items.

Bought for my jeep Jk because of all the great reviews. Awesome shock for the money. On road 3 all around is perfect. Off road I like to raise them up a bit.
