My wife couldn't wait to get these. She is retired and took up art as a hobby. Turns out she's pretty darn good. She loves these alcohol inks. She uses them all the time.

WOW, this arrived 6 days before it was due! GREAT service on shipping!This is a great ink item to have for cardmaking and making your own color-mixed inky card fronts or background pieces.There are YouTube videos on how to work with this medium to do this by several inky videographers, or just check Tim Holtz/Ranger alcohol ink projects. My only “complaint” about the Adirondack line is that the color names are rather obtuse. You wouldn’t think it would be hard to find “red” or even “crimson” but in this line it’s called “Poppyseed” (Not in this particular pack.) very difficult to understand exactly what colors are in each pack. I think this pack has s color called “valencia.” I have NO idea what that is - I would have called it something crazy like bright orange.Having said that, the colors are vibrant and good for base coat or main colors. A little goes a very long was too!

I love this brand of alcohol inks (granted it's the only one I've tried). I'm still learning techniques but it's a fun experiment. The Turquoise and Limeade colors are great, and are pretty close to the label. But Valencia doesn't really match the label - its more red.

Great set of colors. High quality, as are all Holtz alcohol inks. I would not use any other brand. Highly recommended. A++++++++ product and vendor.
