The Ink Pads are water-reactive dye and pigment ink fusion that creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. Use with stamps, stencils, and direct to surface. Love Distress oxide Inks, but this ink pad was mostly dried out.

Terrible. Dry pad again. This happens almost every time I get a new ink pad from the Tim Holtz collection. Save your money and buy a cheaper brand. I’ve never had trouble except for these way-too-expensive inks that need re-inking from the start. Ugh!!!!

I bought this product to use with my junk journaling. I’ve used this brand in the past and I’ve always been satisfied with the results. This particular purchased seemed very dry and was difficult to use. I would have to continually dab my sponge trying to get the ink on the sponge. The quality of this product is poor and did not look very pretty on my pages. I believe this purchase was a dud and I will continue to use the brand.

Distress oxide inks are wonderful for blending. This gray color is fantastic for adding shadows and shading. Distress oxides make very interesting blended backgrounds and are water reactive.

This is one of the best colors in the Tim Holtz collection. It is very elegant for letter pressing on embossing folders. It is perfect for shading beards, snow and other white images.
