I find that water brushes are hard for me to control the amount of water I want with each stroke. Sometimes I want intense color and tad of water others a watery wash. I would rather use a dry brush and pick up the amount of water needed. I realize when you travel this might be a nice way to tote water but a plastic jar with a lid does the trick too and is more versatile. Guess it just didn't work for my style of painting but everyone has different approaches, you may love water brushes and I think this is a good one.

This brush was not as well made as another brand I own. I end up taking off the small connector between the water barrel and the nib, in order to get enough water flow.

I've purchased many water brushs - store brands and other brands. The TIM HOLTZ water brushes are by far the best. The others may be cheaper but these are better quality and totally worth the investment

Worked great! Bought in conjunction with the Distress Marker Tube Set. Also purchased the fine brush, which as worked well. A great way and fun way to get introduced to watercoloring.

Ranger makes great products, and I purchased this brush for the broad width. It's a nice addition to my travel journal kit. The brush is synthetic, but holds up well with use.

I love these brushes, they can be used in a few ways. They are light weight and portable. I don't store water in mine but you can if you like. Good quality.

I love this brush when making cards. The flow of the water when this brush is squeezed is nice and even so it does not over saturate my paper or come out of the brush all at once. The broader tip brush is very easy to manipulate on paper. It is also very easy to clean between colors. Overall, a very nice water brush to have in your collection and your travel bag of crafting supplies. I would recommend this to a fellow crafter.
