It's a rapala. It looks good, swims fabulously and catches fish. This one is pretty light so hard to cast with a Baitcaster but it's a gem of a lure.

Rapala is always high quality as expected but you get what you pay for. Highly effective for creek fishing small panfish or trout.

I’ve caught more fish with the original floater than any bait I’ve fished, by far. And I’ve been fishing them for 45 years. This is just the best price I’ve found.

They are fantastic twitch lures on the surface. I have caught so many fish just by making the lure act like it’s wounded. Awesome lure.

I use the 3 strictly for trolling for trout. It's too light to cast even on an ultralight. I use mostly the 5's for smallmouth while canoeing. Also on an ultralight. I catch bass, walleye, pike, etc on them. My friend caught a 37" pike on a 5 floater. Any size can be used with an ultralight rod. Depending how far you want to cast, 9's and up for medium action rods. These lures are lighter than most, even for their size since they are balsa and not plastic. The majority of lures I own are floating rapalas of varying sizes and colors.

Not what I expected. Not worth half a star. It is so so tiny. The hooks are nothing but craps. Not worth my money. I’m asking for a full refund. I had to put a star or else the system would process my review

I've used Rapala Balsawood Minnows for fishing for years, with great success. When adding to and upgrading the contents of my Survival Fishing Kit, it was an easy choice to add a couple of small Rapala #03 Floating/Diving Balsawood fishing lures to the kit, a silver side minnow lure and a wounded/bleeding shad lure. The finish on all Rapala lures is exceptional, looking exactly like a baitfish in the water. All Rapala lures run straight and true in the water, or can easily be adjusted to do so, making it easy for a fisherman to make a realistic presentation to the target fish he's trying to catch. The treble hooks on Rapala lures are very sharp, helping to insure a solid hook-up when a target fish hits it, and they are placed so they won't get hung up on each other or any of the lure's hardware when the lure is cast, which means more actual fishing time with each cast. Made of top-quality materials, Rapala lures are durable and will give you years of fishing. If you eventually need to replace the hooks, the split rings that attach the hooks to the lure make doing that a simple procedure. My tackle box is never without a few different sizes and colors/patterns of Rapala Balsawood lures. My Survival Fishing Kit won't be without them either.
