I really like the Jaco Lightning air chuck. Honestly I like it more than this EZ flate. The Jaco has slightly better thread retention, moves more air volume, and most importantly, I like the release mechanism and form factor better. BUT the Jaco is open flow, instead of closed flow like this EZ flate is. In order to put multiple air chucks on a single line without having to valve off each chuck, you have to use a closed flow chuck, like this EZ FLATE. There wasn't a lot of tech specs for this ez flate air chuck, so I can confirm this has a 1/4 NPT female thread connection, and is meant for standard automotive valve stems - it does not require any weird proprietary products.Even though I like a number of things about the Jaco Lightning better, this is still a great product, and obviously has the benefit of being closed flow. IMO, it's also fairly priced. I wish they had 2 packs instead of only selling 4 packs, but whatever.

I got these, hoping to replace the rather ugly and heavier brass lock-on chucks I've been using. These look really good, are light-weight, and lock on securely to the valve stems. But I've been unable to get a reliable seal to the valve stem. If the hose applies any lateral force to the chuck, I hear air hissing from where the chuck is supposed to seal to the valve stem. It's not a fast leak, and may not matter in many applications, but just shouldn't happen with a properly designed chuck. Re-applying the chuck, applying extra pressure when applying it, etc. have made no significant difference. And the problem occurred with both of the chucks I tried, so I don't believe it is a manufacturing defect. If this provided a good seal to the valve stem, it would be my favorite lock-on chuck. But it doesn't. That's unfortunate, because it is otherwise a very nice chuck.

These work well compared to the kind that have a thumb tab. I had a dual tire inflation hose and replaced the thumb tab chucks with these and tested them on my truck tires and they held on as intended without leaking air or popping off.
