I have it installed as a second filter coming out of the tank and so far it seems to work.

I thought the number of negative reviews was small enough that they must be outliers.I was wrong. After 10 weeks of use, this unit’s primary cup seal has failed, rendering my entire pneumatic system inoperable. The undersized little one I had had on my compressor from Home Depot was well into its 10th incident-free year. It cost $25. I unit changed to this one because I was going to a 3/4” plumbed system rather than just using hoses. These things should last *years and years*, not weeks.I’m not planning to give RapidAir another dime, ever. This is failure on the most basic level.

Fast shipping and easy to install with included bracket. Installed on outlet of my 80 gal Ingersoll compressor. Did not give 5 stars due to top half being plastic. Fairly easy to adjust pressure just don’t get rough with it. Decent price point. Would buy again.

I bought this to reduce the air line pressure coming for my 2 stage air compressor. Works great planning on buying 2 more for my shop air supply.

Just connected it up tonight but there were no leaks as others have posted. Worked great stepping down my 170psi Quincy QT54 to a useable 120psi for my air tools. Even though it’s made in China, it seems like a quality built regulator. I needed the 1/2” bore size. Looking through it, it appears to be a true 1/2”, where the Milton version necks down to a 1/4”

This has been a great addition to my setup. Easy to use. Only drawback is small gauge but that is an easy fix. Purchased another external gauge and flipped the factory gauge to the backside and threaded the new large gauge in place and it works great. Would definitely recommend for the price!!

Good Regulator/filter at a great price. For years I've used PVC hoses and dealt with the aggravation of tangling, kinks and stiff hoses. I recently upgraded my compressor and needed a new setup so Legacy was my answer. For my lead in hoses I used: 2' (HFZ1202YW3S) and 4' (HFZ1204YW3S) and my Main hose (HFZ1250YW3). I went with 1/2" hose with 3/8" ends on everything, the larger hose helps keep up the supply demand for impact wrenches and higher flowing air tools. I also purchased a ReelWorks (L201303A) and Rapidair regulator (K93215) from Amazon to complete the system. And multiple trips back and forth to local hardware stores for the fittings and valves etc. I already had a retractable reel with 3/8" hose on the other side of the shop. The regulator worked perfect for my with its 3/8" inlet and outlet and was safe to use with my compressor which is rated at 155 PSI. I have the regulator set at 100 - 105 PSI which gives my close to 90 PSI operating pressure when my tools are in use. My only complaint would be the size of the gauge. It's on the smaller side and could be hard to read for some folks.Overall I'm very happy with how the system turned out. After everything was assembled there were no major leaks that I noticed. After about 2 hours I lost roughly 10 PSI in the tank. Eventually I may upgrade the shop plumbing to the Rapidair kit or copper pipping. I can't recommend regulator enough for a cost effective option. Thumbs way up!
